[b]Chapter Fifteen[/b]
Zane drove the SUV across the snowy mountains of the Ko-Rudo Range. Luckily, Alex had many roads made all over the mountains for his forces. This allowed Zane could drive around easily enough. He had been driving for hours as Falk slept in the passenger seat. The man had been through a lot in the last month. He had to become a sensei in order to guide the dojo in its defence against the empire, which was taxing enough.
And now, his daughter had gone missing.
Anne was in the Ko-Rudo mountains, that much the two men knew. But where...?
That was where things got complicated.
"Ah, jeez. How long has it been?" Falk asked Zane as he woke up.

"I would have shot him in the dick, you heard me. Asshole betrayed Deity, for that there is no limit to the pain he should endure."

"Well..." Falk said as he put his pistol in his coat. "Can't argue with that logic. Let's...hold on." Falk was interrupted by a call. He put the phone up to his ear. "Ya? What's...." his face became grim. After a moment he lowered the phone, and hung up.

"What, more bad news? What could possibly make this day any worse?"

Falk looked to Zane. "Zane...Ite. Ite is dead."

"Son of a bitch.....Guess he couldn't beat Cain. What now?"

"We find the atom bomb. We defuse it if we can. But our goal is finding Anne Zane. No matter what. Are you ready to go?" Falk asked him.

"Yeah, I'm ready. Which car are we taking?"

Falk looked at the destroyed jeep, then the unscathed Range Rover. "...we're gunna just take the Range Rover I think."

"Eh fair enough, let's get moving then." He walked back over and hopped in the drivers side of the Rover and started the car.
