"I'm not one that usually has a plan, no." Roy said with a chuckle.

"Well. Looks like we'll just have to improvise." Joseph replied as they walked up the door. A large, dark skinned bouncer stood outside the door and raised his hand to stop the two. "Who are you two? And what's up with the armour guy?" The man asked them in a low voice. "I'm Roland. I'm a tourist of different worlds. This is my bodyguard Ben Colton." Joseph lied as he gestured to Royal. "Uh-huh. You got any weapons on you?" He asked both of them. "Ya. We do." He told him honestly. "Gunna need to take those. The guard can keep his fancy armour though. Even if he won't need it. Unless he causes trouble that is."
-
Royal took the sword off his back, handing in over to the bodyguard. He quickly followed up by drawing a hand gun, also handing it over
-
Jospeh took his revolver off his side and handed it to the bouncer, as well as the large knife he had on his side. The bouncer took the weapons and opened the wall on the right where a drawer/container was revealed. He put everything inside and closed it. "Alright. You're clear to go. No touching the girls though, got it?" He told them.
-
"I'm Asexual. I don't know what girls are." Royal said, crossing his arms over his chest
-
"Uh...what?" The bouncer asked him. Confused.
-
"An Asexual. Someone who doesn't care for any race, Gender, or otherwise things that make up a person. People who just don't give a shit"
-
"Like worms." Joseph said to the man. "Oh. Got it." He understood the simple explanation. "Well, on with you then." The bouncer opened the door, and Joseph stood aside for Roy to go first. He was his bodyguard after all....
-
Royal took a step in, but stopped, talk a look around. "Looks clear." He said, in a very official manner as if taking it seriously before continuing inside
-
"Right. Good work, Ben." Joseph said as he stepped in. There was a staircase that lead down and branched to the right. The bouncer closed the door. Joseph turned to Roy. "What was that?" He asked him.
-
"What was what, sir? Just looking out for your safety is all." Royal said, slowly breaking out into a grin
-
"You're hilarious Benjamin. You...asexual...guard guy." Jospeh commented as he began his way down the stairs.
-
"Thank you, sir. Happy to serve." Royal said, going down ahead of Joseph
-
Royal entered the dark, orange lit bar. There were tables packed with people everywhere and Jazz played through the speakers positioned all around the low ceiling room. There was a catwalk, where...many, women, had taken the floor. There was a bar on the right with shelves of drinks behind it all lit with neon lights to make a fantastically cool effect. On the north wall, there seemed to be a door with a window beside it. Blinds were down on the window so one couldn't see in. "Oh god I really hope Lilly didn't end up coming here." Joseph said. "They wouldn't let a minor in here right?"
-
"I mean ... Most likely not? Unless she bribed her way in of course."
-
"Ugh...I don't want to think about that. Anyways, I'm going to the bar. Maybe I can find some leads on em. Wanna tail along?"
-
"As your security guard, it seems I have to. Don't you think? Boss." He emphasized the word boss, as he moved towards the bar
-
"Uh huh. That it is." Joseph played along as he sat at the bar as well. He waved the bartender over, and the red suited man walked over. "Yes?" The pasty man asked. "Need some drinks." Joseph replied "....okay? Are you gunna elaborate?" "Agh...." Joseph seemed to struggle as he tried to think of a drink to order.
-
"Johnnie Walker Black on the rocks." Roy said, stepping up to order
-
"One Johnny coming up." The bartender said as he went to the shelves. Joseph rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly.
-
"It's alright sir." Royal said, patting Joseph's back
-
Joseph turned his head to the left, towards the north wall. He nodded his head towards it. "You see the office?" He asked Roy.
-
Royal quickly looked up, looking nonchalant about it as it he we simply looking for any risks
-
"Think that's where he's at?" Joseph asked Jim quietly as the bartender came back and slid them their drinks.
-
"No, it couldn't be. He'd have to be on the downlow, right?" Royal asked, picking up his drink
-
"When you have crate of dirt on the police force as well as politicians, I don't think you'd have to..." Joseph commented as he took a sip of his drink.
