As she opened the door, the noon sun shined in her eyes as she walked out. She walked on to a driveway, and realized she was in what looked to be a neighbourhood.
A very, militarized neighbourhood.
Jeeps with turrets drove down the streets. The tile shingled rooftops of the quaint homes around her were surrounded by a large, steel wall that seemed to have been put up quickly. Soldiers, men as well as women, walked down the streets. They wore the black Kevlar, similar to what Lyn wore.

"Well, I'm outside, Henry. Now what?" She looked up and down the street for Henry.
-
One of the soldiers, a short haired blond woman noticed Lyn and approached her. "Hey!" She called. "You're from the dojo, right?"
-
"Yeah. I'm Lyn. Where's Henry?" Lyn kept looking around.
-
"You'll find him at the end of the village!" She said as she pointed to the large two story home down the street. "It's a big two story building! You can't miss it!"
-
"Thanks! Have a nice day!" Lyn ran towards where the girl pointed, but she suddenly stopped within a few meters and began to fix up her hair for a reason unknown to her.
-
More soldiers passed by her, all patrolling the area. A few waved at her.
-
She waved back with a smile before she knocked on the front door.
-
She heard a discussion inside the white painted home. It seemed rather intense from where she stood. Then, the door opened. A shorter man with short black hair and brown eyes opened the door. "Come in." He told Lyn. "They've been waiting for you."
-
"Alright." Lyn walked inside.
-
As she walked in she stepped into a hallway. There were stairs that lead up to the second floor, and doors on her left and right. The voices seemed to be coming from the right. The door man walked to the door on the right and opened it, which allowed her to see Henry with his hands on a long dinner table with four other men in the room. All looked battle hardened and wore brown dusters. There seemed to be maps covering the entire table. "I'm telling you, I can pull it off." Henry told one of the men. "Maybe when you weren't the leader of our band of misfits, ya, that would've been true." The man across the table told him. "You gotta stay outta harms way. That's how it's got to be." "That's bullshit and you know it Shane!" Henry let out.
-
"Should I come back another time?" Lyn stepped inside the room and instinctively went over to Henry.
-
"Lyn?!" Henry said with wide eyes before he regained his composure. "No! No, stay here. Right now I trust you more than these "intelligent politicians.'" Henry commented against the other men in the room sarcastically. Henry wore a black duster with black Kevlar underneath now. His tanned skin and blond hair went well with the outfit. "The fact is, I have the best chance at pulling this off!" Henry told the rest of them. "It's too risky!" Another man said. "Too risky?! We're fighting a war right now! Everything is risky!"
-
"May I ask what is too risky? Maybe I can help you all figure this out." Lyn crossed her arms and smiled a little in a friendly manner.
-
"Henry here wants to infiltrate one of the most highly protected buildings in Yorktown and intercept Faolin's right hand man, Quinton Lance, so he can get access to the slave's systems." One of the men explained. "And in doing so, we can breach the slave camp in Yorktown and free the Coldbourne's entire labour force!" Henry declared. "We need to free these people! Once we have the codes we can access the entire damn network and shut off all the collars and slave chips! This won't only save the shi people! It'll save the Celtics, Ollimunders, Gellidites, all of them! Why can't you see this is worth the risk?!" "Because if the mission fails everyone falls apart and NO ONE IS SAVED."
-
Lyn placed a hand on Henry's shoulder, confidance radiated off of her. "I'm with Henry. This should take top priority."
-
"See?!" Henry told them. "The dojo is on the side of risk taking. It's time to take action!" The duster worn group looked around quietly for a moment, before they began o speak up. "Alright Henry. Let's do it." One of them said. "Ya. Let's get this done." Yet another said. The rest nodded in agreement and Henry grew a sly grin on his face. "Outstanding people." Henry told them. He looked to the table and pointed at it. "Alright Lyn, take a look at this." He said. The papers on the table showed blueprints and construction operations on a building.
-
Lyn leaned over his shoulder for a better look. "Okay, what is it?"
-
"This, Lyn, is our plan to get to Lance." Henry told her. Then, he began to explain. "So. This is the plan. You and I, alone, will drop from a cargo plane above the clouds. From there we can use wing suits, think of flying squirrels, to safely make our way down to the building. We need to land on the window washer cart that will likely be at the 80th floor of the building where you and I can take the wing suits off to have none other then window washer uniforms on. From there we need to get through the air ducts and get to the security room where we can disable the cameras and security. We'll need to lower ourselves on the cart to the thirtieth floor where we can easily access the vents. Once the security is disabled we can make our way up the stairs and reach the 85th floor, where Lance is likely working. We interrogate him, get the codes then get out."
-
"Uh huh. Something is bound to go wrong, but I'm in. When are we doing this?" Lyn leaned in a bit more for a closer look and rested herself tightly up against Henry's back to do so.
-
"Right now." Henry told her. One of the other men spoke up. "Lance is in town for a meeting in the next four hours. That's your window to get in there and get out." "Right." Henry said as he looked at Lyn. "So, you ready to go?" He asked her.
-
Lyn sighed and nodded. "Yeah, lets go."
-
After this, the two made their way to a small airstrip outside of town. They got into their janitorial attire and then put the black wingsuits on top of their outfits. They got on to a small plane that looked like it was made for passenger travel. From there, the plane started its take off. It sped down the airstrip and immediately shot up to the sky and in a few minutes it was above the clouds.
-
Lyn sat beside Henry and hesitantly asked. "So....Do you have a girl back home?"
-
Henry sat in the empty first class seat. He was living the high life, even though it was just him and Lyn on the plan. He jolted his head away from the window and looked at the girl beside him. "Uh...no?" He told her. The question seemed to catch him off guard.
-
"Okay..." Lyn casually turned away when he looked over at her and nervously rubbed the back of her neck with one hand.
