Laser cannons appeared in front of both factions who took a moment to look at the machine.
The Vikings made sense of it due to their understanding of the crossbow and we're pleased to see they did not need to reload it like it's primitive counterpart.
Samurai however were used to gunpowder based weaponry and caught on just as quickly, aiming it like an ancient musket.
Once both got close enough they began firing upon each other slightly clumsily as they got used to the weaponry. Others of both parties drew their swords. The raw power of Nordic steel clashed with the precision of the Katana both not used to their new opponents.
