No one appeared to be on the ladder down in the hatch. But he did see people inside. Or at least he thought he did.
"Any time now Zane!" Falk yelled at him.
English
-
"Fûcking hell, screw it." He tossed a grenade down the hatch and slammed the hatch down, then flipped bank and ran back to Falk.
-
The tank blew up from the inside, and the blast sent Zane flying forward and made him crash on the ground. The remaining soldiers took advantage of this and ran from behind their cover to fire on Zane as Falk was behind cover. "Oh shit, Zane!" He yelled at him. Then, the first soldiers throat was coated in blood. He dropped to the ground as he held his throat. "What the hell?" Said one of the guards before he dropped to the ground after and audible gun shot. The other two seemed to get slammed together and both fell to the ground unconscious. It looked like they were taken out by a host. It was...a hilarious sight, actually.
-
Zane chuckled as he got up, rubbing the back of his head as he looked at the site. "Huh, guess we found the Revenant."

Edited by Inflatablepants: 4/29/2017 9:23:17 PM"Ya, you did." Said a familiar voice. Suddenly, Anne seemed to be constructed right in front of Zane. She wore a white hide parka and a scarf around her face, but he could Make out her light blue skin. She wore fur pants that tucked into her black snow boots. She pulled down her scarf, but that was when Zane saw a sight he wasn't very fond of. Anne's angry face. She looked at him, her eyes squinted and her brow furrowed. Her lip was pouted as well. "Anne!" Falk yelled as he ran towards her. He hugged her, but she didn't immediately return it. She turned into her dad and gave him a brief hug before she pushed him back. "WHAT ARE DOING?" Anne immediately let out. "You could've ruined EVERYTHING! I don't care if it worked out! I left you a damned note saying DO NOT FOLLOW ME. I guess I was dumb enough to think that would work!" She continued to yell. She turned to Zane suddenly. "Especially you, ZANE. You nearly KILLED ME."
-
"Oh I'm sorry, maybe if you haven't shot me with the damn tank I wouldn't have gotten in an explosive mood." He sighed as he brushed the dust off of him, and dismissed his gun. "Nice to see you to by the way."
-
"Ya. It's great. Fantastic." Anne said with a thick coat of sarcasm. "You were fine, Zane. You are wearing you armour so rationale stated you would be fine." She explained coldly. "How is any of this rational Anne?!" Falk asked his daughter. "Coming out here by yourself as a one woman army? Really?" "Well it worked so far hasn't it? This is the only plan that went off with a hitch." She told her father as she walked away from both of them and towards the truck. "I wonder why?!"
-
"Hey, you shouldn't talk to your father that way. He was worried sick about you!" Zane's patience was running thin. Anne might have been his friend, but no kid should disrespect their parent.
-
"Okay. Sorry I worried you. There? Happy?" Anne said to Falk. Falk immediately stormed after her. "ANNE." He let out. "You need to stop for one damn minute, got it?" She turned on her heels and looked at Falk. She was clearly still upset. "Okay. You have a minute." Anne said. "No, I mean-" "What? What did you mean? A minute is a minute dad." "Don't be smart with me, Anne." "Oh? Don't be smart with you? If someone else isn't gunna be smart I better be the one taking the initiative! You two were reckless when you got here! I had everything lined up PERFECTLY with that tank!"
-
"Anne, I swear to whatever God you believe in that of you don't start showing some respect to Falk....."
-
Edited by Inflatablepants: 4/29/2017 9:43:08 PM"What, Zane?" Anne asked with a hint of challenge.
-
"Oh hohoho, you don't want to find out. Last warning, stop acting like an entitled spoiled brat."
-
"Zane!" Falk yelled at him. "That's enough out of you as well. Good god man." He then turned to Anne. "Anne, sorry we showed up. But guess what, deal with it. You're old enough to know that I'll go to hell and back for you. So cut me a damn break and stop acting like a princes." "Well. I am-" "DON'T." Falk interrupted her. Anne bowed her head and rubbed the back of her neck. "Lets...let's just deal with the matter at hand alright?" She said quietly as she turned back to the truck. Falk let out a deep breath as he followed her.
-
Zane did the same, but was still pissed off. "And what would the matter at hand be?"
-
Anne approached the back of the truck, and shot at its hinges with her Magnus pistol. They came unhinged, and she brought the door up with a jolt. Which revealed the massive bomb inside as the cargo. "This..." Anne told Zane. "Oh jeez." Falk commented. "How did they get this? They didn't make it did they?" "No. It was bought on the black market in the gellidius region. I don't know how it managed to get there though. Pretty spooky if I do say so myself." Anne said.
-
"So then, I take it you want to kill Tywin with this bomb?"
-
"What?! No! No, Zane! Absolutely not!" Anne declared. "Do you know what a bomb like this can do? Zane?" She asked him.
-
"My guess is that it makes a big boom. But hey, didn't know how desperate you were for revenge."
-
"Not that desperate..." Anne said softly. She seemed offended by Zane's words, but he didn't have time to think about that as she hopped into the truck. "Okay. I need to remove the core. All of these atomic bombs these days have fusion cores you can remove to make them inactive. That being said the core is basically a small nuke itself." She explained. "Anne, how can we help?" Falk asked her. "You can't. Not really." She told her father. She looked at the two apologetically. "You can help by making sure no one else is around. Also see if you can grab some of their uniforms. We'll need them."
-
"Falk, go ahead and find some uniforms. Il go on patrol and make sure nothing distracts Anne."
-
"Sure thing." Falk said as he walked towards the battlefield. Anne began to work on the bomb. She was quiet, and focused. At least that's what it looked like to Zane.
-
He sighed as he formed his MP5 and started to patrol the perimeter, keeping an eye out for anything.
-
"Zane..." Anne said. She didn't turn her head to him at all as he made his way back. "I....I'm sorry. That just...I don't know. It wasn't me."
-
He sighed then walked over to her, then dismissed his gun. "I'm sorry as well. I understand the pain you're going through right now. I shouldn't have snapped...."
-
"It's okay Zane. You had every right too. Here I was, in a tank, thinking that was a sound plan and I ended up hurting you." She sat down beside the bomb and rested her back against the trailer. She rubbed the bridge of her nose before she continued. "It's...it's been a hard week. I'm glad you're here."
-
He opened his arms and hugged her, rubbing her back. "I know Anne, believe me I know....I should have seen this coming though...."
