"Thanks."
She stepped back.
"You're going in first, right?"

Henry looked at Lyn with a furrowed brow. ".....ya, fine. I'll go first." He said before he crouched down and entered the vent. But then, Lyn heard something. Voices. Someone was coming into the hallway she stood in.
-
"Hurry up." She whispered, trying to get in as fast as possible.
-
"Ya, hurrying! This thing isn't exactly roomy Lyn!" Henry told her as he made his way down the vent. There was enough room for Lyn to make her way in now.
-
Lyn grabbed the screws, got in and placed the vent back on before she followed Henry.
-
The voices got louder and louder and Lyn heard and saw the footsteps outside the vent. She couldn't hear exactly what they were saying, but the people seemed to be on patrol. Henry moved through the cramped vent, and took a right turn through it. "How are you doing Lyn?" Henry asked her.
-
Lyn whispered back, staying close behind. She didn't waste time worrying about the patrol. "Fine. You?"
-
"Ya! I'm good!" Henry confirmed. Then, he stopped. He moved up against the air conditioning's back wall as the two reached a dead end. However the vents moved upwards, to the next floor. "Alright. Here's the plan." Henry said as he aimed his wrist upwards. Lyn saw he had some form of contraption on his wrist. It looked to be a winded up string with a piece of steel on the end. Suddenly the piece of steel shot up, black wiring following behind it as it hit the top of the vent and stayed there. "Come her Lyn!" Henry waved her over.
-
Lyn crawled up more to Henry. "What?"
-
"Grab onto me, I'll hoist us up!" He fold her as he began to ascend slowly. The top seemed to retract into his wrist which allowed him to get up.
-
Lyn wrapped her arms around his waist and clung on as they ascended up the shaft.
-
Henry lifted Lyn with him so they could reach the next section. Lyn could reach to the continuation of the vent that could now be climbed through again.
-
Lyn grabbed onto it and pulled herself up. "Good job, Henry."
-
"Thanks! Let's keep moving." The two made their way through the vents. It took half an hour before Henry finally found a grate in the air vents. "Security room is here." He told Lyn. "I'm moving in. Let's move!" Henry pushed open the grate and fell through it.
-
"Alright." Lyn silently fell from the vent a second after Henry.
-
She entered a dark room where the only light came from the ten monitors that lined the right wall. On the left side of the room were large computer consoles that beeped with green lights. It seemed that there was no one in the room as Henry walked up to the monitors. They showed different sections of the building. "Where...where's the guard?" Henry asked as he looked around the room.
-
"...Henry, I think you should get back in the vent." Short swords formed in Lyn's hands.
-
"Like hell I am. Cover the door this will only take a minute." Henry said as he sat down in the security chair and began to mess around with the computer.
-
"It's a trap, Henry. We've lost." Lyn walked up to the door.
-
"Well now you're just being dramatic!" Henry told Lyn as he stepped away from the console. "There, security disabled. Now all we have to do is make our way up to the 85th floor and find Lance."
-
"Why is there no guard? What about when he comes back? Won't he realize it's all disabled?" Lyn asked.
-
"Then we better hurry!" Henry told her as he approached the door. Suddenly, the knob turned. "Oh shit!" Henry whispered as he went beside the door. He waved for Lyn to take the other side as he took his black combat knife from off his hip.
-
Lyn did as Henry gestured, taking the other side of the door. She remained silent.
-
The door then opened, and Henry quickly raised his knife up to the man who stood in the middle of the door and pulled him in, his knife to his neck. But Lyn soon realized the competency of this security guard. He was large, and by large, he was fat. He had a brown bag in one hand, with grease dripping trough the bottom, and a large cup in his other hand. "Oh man! Don't hurt me!" The security guard begged. "Shut the hell up before I cut your throat!" Henry threatened. "Lyn, close the door, quickly!" He told her in a hushed voice.
-
Lyn swiftly closed the door with her foot and raised her swords to the man. "Henry, we can't hurt him."
-
"You can't. I can." Henry said menacingly. Yet, he turned his head to Lyn and winked. "O-oh no." The guard let out. Henry pushed the man into the chair and held his knife close to his throat. "Alright man. Listen up." Henry started. "Is Lance here? TELL ME!" "Y-yes he's here!" The guard replied. "He's been in the board room on the 85th for the last hour!"
