Edited by Sevenv2: 5/3/2017 3:42:32 PMI personally don't think the illusive man would communicate through the faces of others, the alliance may know his face but I think that's literally the only thing they have to go on. It just doesn't fit his character to communicate that way, TIM was always seemingly upfront with those he had an interest in, regardless of ulterior motives. I could be wrong though as it is different writers who may have a different interpretation. I'm hoping it's someone more unpredictable, somebody that came along with the arks, hopefully somebody we haven't met yet because most of the characters outside of the crew aren't insanely cool. Other than the turian Spectre, he was pretty cool. Oh and Efra, Evfra? He was also an interesting character.

3 RepliesIt's most likely Cerberus/TIM being the benefactor. -Quantum Entanglement comm stuff (the same thing that was in the Normady SR2, a ship developed by Cerberus) -An advanced AI which pretty much makes a badass super soldier out of someone (SAM) I believe that was something Cerberus, or at least TIM wanted. One may ask, "Why would Cerberus have other aliens on board this project?" Most likely because not even Cerberus could provide all of this nice good stuff, The Shadow Broker was obviously involved as Alec Ryder went to them so he could develop SAM. Most likely, it was Cerberus and Shadow Broker teaming up, that or it was mostly Cerberus.

2 RepliesIllusive man is the obvious choice though it makes you wonder why so many other races would come along as well. Other than that, we don't really know any super wealthy individuals. Shadow broker maybe? Could be, even more likely if liara is the shadow broker at the time. Seems a bit far fetched though as I wouldn't consider the shadow broker to be even that wealthy.
