It proceeded to stare at the river, waiting for anything to come up.
It caught a bass with its hand, squishing it's guts out...yet it still scanned it.

Deciding he didn't want to become a half squashed science project, Demmu snuck off thinking it was probably best to just leave it be. The thing seemed more interested in killing wildlife and examining it more than anything after all. It didn't seem worth bothering it in his mind.
