Not Dead, Not Alive, Not Undead, yet still he walks.
Entrance to the Dojo
It was a fine day, very fine indeed, until the ground trembled, split, and vomited a giant knight with a spout of fire and the screams of the dead.
The knight was large, wearing blackened armor, large and foreboding. The knight's head was covered in a purple hood, but a strange tattoo glowed under it, in the unnatural darkness that shouldn't be there.
Upon the knight's back was a large sword, blackened and stained in a worn scabbard.
The knight' hands were uncovered, and they were perhaps the strangest thing.
The hands were rotting.
Green flesh hung limply from exposed bone, tendons outlined against the yellowed bone and the rotting flesh.
The air was filled with a stench of decay as the knight slowly rose, brushing himself off.
He looked around, pulling out a map, which unfolded many times larger than it should've, tracing a path along it with a finger.
"This is the place."
He said to himself in a coarse whisper, his voice long gone.
He folded the map and raised his arm up, and the ground beneath is churned as the gust was engulfed in blue flames, a skeletal arm rising from the soil, grabbing the map, then being pulled back down below.
"Artifact 201, the Urn of Defeat. Buried in these mountains. Contains the ashes of a great military leader, when scattered they come alive, and can give advice on how to win any battle. Price, the user will die in the next battle he partakes in, his soul consumed abc his body burned to ashes, which will join those in the Urn."
He adjusted his blade and walked into the Dojo, looking around for any living soul.
