After recently seeing Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2, I've come up with a more plausible theory on the identity of Nokris.
Context: Gamora and Nebula are sisters who engaged in combat a lot as children to please their father, the almighty Thanos. Nebula never won, causing Thanos to try to "upgrade" her so she would beat Gamora at least once.
What if Nokris is the Hive equivalent of Nebula? He was never able to beat Crota in combat, so Oryx essentially disowned him or Crota killed him. Oryx may have built the statue to mark Crota's triumph over Nokris.
Theory 1 can be found here

Nokris is not a very hiveish name it sounds more like a fallen name: axis, meksis, orbiks, prixis etc. My theory is that Nokris is the Kell of stone who stood up to oryx, was taken, and was left a measure of autonomy like Malok.

It would be mentioned in the book of sorrows if Oryx had a second son dear. So I doubt your theory is right
