"I do not see why not. When would you wish to set off?" Mark asked them.
-
"Hmm whenever really i got nothing plan"says Talath "Yeah same here"says Lola
-
"You do not have ant belongings you wish to bring? The voyage may be several days, and you shall likely wish to stay many a day at the great castle." Mark says.
-
"Oh i know i have a spell that can shrink and grow things so i got like a week and a half worth of clothes pack in the bag im carrying so does he cause i taught him it"says Lola
-
"Amazing..." Mark chuckled, shaking his head slightly. "If ye are so inclined, you may follow me to the ships and we can be off."
-
"Mhm"says Lola They both head that way.
-
Several of the crossbowmen shoot odd glances at them. One crosses himself. Mark glares at said crossbowman and says something in a strange language. The men shut up and back off as he gestures to the row boats. "Climb aboard and we shall be off."
-
Lola notices but doesn't say anything clearly this hasn't her first being stared at. Talath doesn't really care at all.
-
Mark climbs into the boat with John and about a third of the crossbowmen. They push off from the beach and begin to row towards one of the large galeases.
-
They stood on the ship unsure what to do now. Lola just looked around. Talath did the same he knew this was going to be fun.
-
It took roughly five minutes to pull up alongside the galease. The one thing that seems odd about it is instead of oars, the ship sports two great paddle wheels. "Welcome aboard, friends, to the Conquistador." Mark tells them as a rope ladder is dropped to their boat.
-
"Oh wow its so big"says Talath "Yes it is"says Lola Lola climbs up first then Talath does shortly after her.
-
Mark follows as the other secure the boat with ropes and haul it aboard with pullies. "I do hope niether of you are prone to sea sickness." Mark says, half jokingly.
-
"No i dont get seasick"says Lola "Me either"says Talath
-
"Excellent. Unfortunately, there is only one empty cabin. Would sharing a room be acceptable for you? If not I would gladly give my own cabin and sleep on deck." Mark offered.
-
"It's fine we don't mind sharing"says Lola "Yeah would not want you to sleep on the deck"says Talath
-
"I truly do not mind. The sky is clear and the weather is warm, thus it would not be unpleasant." He replied, smiling.
-
"Are you sure though?"says Lola Lola didn't really what to kick him out of his room like that if she didn't have too.
-
"I am sure, maddame. Besides, the stars shall be far more interesting to watch than an old wooden roof, no?"
-
"Yeah i guess your right"says Lola
-
"Would you two wish for a tour? If so I shall show you around."
-
"Sure sounds like fun"says Lola "Yeah it does "says Talath
-
"Right this way." Mark lead them across the deck, gesturing to the front "tower." "This is the forcastle. And the back of the ship is the poop deck. The cabins are inside of each, with the engine in the middle below the smoke stack." He pointed to the large smoke stack.
-
"So cool much more different than what i normally travel"says Lola "Yeah definitely is but its still pretty impressive"says Talath They both looked around as he showed them around the ship.
-
"The ship is mostly steam powered, though as you can see we have sails as well. We have enough coal to get back to the city though."
