It wasn't long before the dead had dropped to the ground and met a second grave. They couldn't enjoy their victory long however.
"God...damnit!" Damien cursed as he held his bloodied shoulder.
"You okay Pa?" Harold, Damien's son, asked his father.
"Ya I'm fucking fine. The bastard took a nibble out of my shoulder is all."

"...Damn...we best get going, though. Unless someone could help the wound. Is there really a treatment for bites from these damn things..?" Arianna questioned quietly, staring upon the remains of the zombie horde calmly. She didn't want Damien to catch any infections..
-
"Ya. Alcohol." Brigitte pointed out. This sparked a chuckle from the rest of the crowd. Then...Isaac's acute hearing picked up something. Movement...coming from the way they came.
-
"Does anyone else hear that..?" Isaac murmured nervously as he turned to face the way that the group had come from, raising his rifle a little. Of course, it could've been something minor, but..
-
"Ya." Tyrell said. "Sounds like a fuckton of zombies." Isaac could hear the rushing of over a hundred footsteps and the cries of the dead filling the sewers now. "Oh shit!" Harold cursed. "Run! Run right now!" He yelled as he grabbed his father and began to run down the dead coated tunnel. Then, Isaac saw a wave of dead flush into the tunnels. They clambered over one another and stumbled as they turned sharply to their location...
RED ZONE
"...Damnit!" Isaac yelled in utmost shock as he began to run, Arianna already in front of him as she began to take the lead of the sprinting group. Isaac managed to be in the middle, although he was worried sick about the Celtics that couldn't catch up..
-
Ronda, the blue eyed woman, ran beside Isaac. "Are you alright?!" She asked him as she gestured to his leg. Tyrell and Brigette were behind them while the remainder of the group was ahead. They sprinted down the tunnel and the dead pooled in after them.
-
"Y-Yeah, I should be fine- Keep going!" Isaac didn't want to hold the rest of the group back just because of his leg, yet he still hurt like hell from running upon it. Arianna hadn't noticed him, as she kept running with all of her speed.
-
The group turned the corner to see a larger room ahead. There was a gated door wide open and they sprinted for it. The dead were right behind them, but then they heard a terrifying scream. "AHHH! NO, NO!" Brigitte let out. As Isaac turned he saw the woman get grabbed by her hair by one of the dead. Tyrell stopped for a moment and looked, but then he continued to run. The dead sank their teeth into Brigitte and she was pulled into the horde in a red mist. "BRIG! NO!" Harold let out. "God dammit run you idiots!" Tyrell scolded as he ran past the group and through the gated doorway. It seemed that Brigitte slowed the horde down for a moment....
-
"B-By God.." Isaac muttered, before- "RUN, DAMNIT!" Arianna's yell kicked him back into action, as Isaac then returned to running. This time, with all of the vigor that he could manage - he didn't want to suffer the same fate as Brigette.
-
The entire group made it through the gated door quickly and Tyrell closed it shut. He barred the rusty iron gate as the horde ran into the bars and shook the rust right off of it. The creatures tried to claw their way in but the old door held them back. They were safe. For now.
-
Isaac sighed, as he pressed his back against the concrete wall of the sewer. Already, one member of their party was dead...hopefully Harold, Arianna, and himself would stay safe. "...We ought to keep moving, once we catch our breaths.." Arianna muttered, sighing after a moment. Standing still and doing nothing was...well, irritating to her.
-
"Agh, fuck!" Damien cursed as he fell to the ground. He was pale and his eyes were becoming darker. "Dad!" Harold exclaimed as he tried to hold his father up. "God dammit this isn't good." Damien cursed. He looked sick, and he was shaking. "What's wrong with him?!" Ronda asked. "F--blam!-ing blood loss is all." Damien told her. "Don't worry about it. I... No. No scratch fucking that. I'm not moving." "What do you mean you ain't moving?!" Harold asked. "Come on! We have to go!" "NO!" Damien yelled. "I...am only gunna slow you down. You need to get to the castle. Put an end to the bastard who started this." "He's right." Tyrell said. "He'll only slow us down." "YA RIGHT." Ronda yelled at Tyrell. "You just want to use him as bait like you used Brigitte don't you?!" "I don't know-" "Yes you do! You could've save her but ya didn't you bastard!" "SHUT UP!" Harold yelled. The dead outside seemed riled up and Ari noticed That one of the bars was becoming loose from the ceiling. "We aren't leaving anyone! We can get pa to the castle and kick some ass! I know we can!" "Start looking at the facts Harold!" Tyrell yelled. "Look at your pa! He's a mess! If you have any love in your heart you'd put a bullet in em now!" "You bastard!" Harold yelled a he stood up and punched Tyrell across his cheek.
-
"Harold." Arianna stood behind Harold, her arm raised as if she was trying to hold him back, or block a punch from him. Her voice had changed - from an uncaring tone to one of sadness. "Harold, listen...if your father is truly infected, and wishes to stay behind so that we may carry on... Then we must respect his decisions. The most merciful thing that we can do is put him out of his misery. And we need to get going - otherwise, the zombies will break in.." Isaac had gone silent, studying the wall carefully.
-
"Don't bother." Damien made out. "I wanna gun down as many of these undead shites that I can." Harold looked down at his father. He knelt down, and Damien looked at his son. "Kick some Ass, son." Damien told him. "I...I will Pa." Harold affirmed. His son stood up and looked down on his father.
>Kill Damien? >Do not?
-
Arianna drew her Beretta pistol and looked down at Damien, before sighing and sheathing it. "Just... ...I don't know what to say. We should probably get moving.."
-
"Ya." Harold said. "Give em hell pa." "Aye. Will do." Damien affirmed as he loaded his shotgun. "Now get the hell outta here! Go!" There was another exit on the opposite side of the small room. That was the only way to go, and since Tyrell was already walking to it they could assume that was where they were heading.
-
Arianna and Isaac didn't hesitate to follow Tyrell, Arianna sighing as she considered the choice that she had just made. She couldn't fix it now. She continued to follow silently, Isaac behind her.
-
Harold and Ronda followed behind them, and walked out of the room. Tyrell took the lead now as he walked beside Arianna. "Hey." He said he spoke in a hushed tone as Harold walked furthest to the back. "Thanks for backing me up. Fact is sacrifices have to be made if we wanna get through this."
-
"Agreed...sad, but true. If Brigette didn't fall behind there...well, more of us would've lost our lives. Harold has a good heart...but we won't be able to save everyone." Arianna muttered back, while she made a mental note to it trust Tyrell with her life. If he would play the survival of the fittest game? Then she would too. Harold, she'd act trustworthy to him.
-
"Aye. And what about your brother back there?" Tyrell asked her. Isaac seemed to be walking with Harold. "His knee looks like it got stabbed with a fucking pitchfork."
-
"Coincidentally? It did. He's holding up...I hope. Bandaged it, stitched the wound together the best I could. He's still not walking as good, but he's still capable of combat, as long as he can get a jump on the target.." Arianna pocketed her hands as Isaac kept close to Harold, yet not too close. He seemed solemn and quiet, if anything.
-
"Honestly, combat doesn't mean shit in our situation. It's all about who can stay at the front of the group." Tyrell stated. Then, ari heard gunshots ring out from down the tunnel the way they came. Harold bowed his head to the ground as he continued to walk. "Damnit..." he let out.
-
"You're not wrong-" Arianna was soon cut off by the bullets, while she sighed and shook her head. "...Should I have ended his life? Just so he didn't end up like one of those undead bаstards?" Isaac had been silent for the majority of the group's movement, although he spoke up at last to try and calm Harold. "Your father's a noble man, Y'know. More noble than most people I've met.."
-
"Ya, he was pretty damn good." Harold said. "We should hurry though...it sounds like the gunfire has stopped." "Aye he's right." Ronda said. "They coulda made their way down the tunnels by now. It's only a couple more miles of tunnel to get to the castle!" "Then let's fucking move!" Tyrell said as he started into a jog down the sewer, taking a left up ahead.
-
Arianna and Isaac nodded, as Arianna sprinted behind Tyrell quickly, leading the group forwards to the left tunnel. Isaac hobbled with all of his speed, attempting to keep his speed up.
