"Excellent. Unfortunately, there is only one empty cabin. Would sharing a room be acceptable for you? If not I would gladly give my own cabin and sleep on deck."
Mark offered.
English
-
"It's fine we don't mind sharing"says Lola "Yeah would not want you to sleep on the deck"says Talath
-
"I truly do not mind. The sky is clear and the weather is warm, thus it would not be unpleasant." He replied, smiling.
-
"Are you sure though?"says Lola Lola didn't really what to kick him out of his room like that if she didn't have too.
-
"I am sure, maddame. Besides, the stars shall be far more interesting to watch than an old wooden roof, no?"
-
"Yeah i guess your right"says Lola
-
"Would you two wish for a tour? If so I shall show you around."
-
"Sure sounds like fun"says Lola "Yeah it does "says Talath
-
"Right this way." Mark lead them across the deck, gesturing to the front "tower." "This is the forcastle. And the back of the ship is the poop deck. The cabins are inside of each, with the engine in the middle below the smoke stack." He pointed to the large smoke stack.
-
"So cool much more different than what i normally travel"says Lola "Yeah definitely is but its still pretty impressive"says Talath They both looked around as he showed them around the ship.
-
"The ship is mostly steam powered, though as you can see we have sails as well. We have enough coal to get back to the city though."
-
"Hmm i still think its pretty cool"says Lola "Yeah no matter what its powered by"says Talath
-
Mark chuckled. "Steam may be less powerful than gasoline, but it is far more plentiful."
-
"Gas is more unstable too"says Lola "But it makes fun explosions"says Talath
-
"Aye, though it is a rare item indeed." He gestured towards the forcastle. "Your cabins are in there, the first two on the left if you want them."
-
"Oh okay then thanks for the tour of the place"says Talath
-
"You are much welcome. Now then..." He turned to one of the sailors. "Are all prepared for the voyage?" "Aye, milord. We be off in a jiffy." Replied the sailor. As if on que, smoke began to pour from the smokestack and the great paddle wheels began to turn, propelling the ship forward.
-
They both watched the ship come to life as they watched smoke pour from the chimney.
-
The ship slowly began to move through the blue waters, leaving ripples in it's wake. As soon as they exited the bay, a strong breeze met them and the sails were lowered to catch the wind for greater speed. Knights and sailors skittered across the deck to work the ship as they began their voyage.
-
they both watched for a little bit longer before looking for something to do. Lola and Talath both wanted to remain helpful if they could be.
-
It did not appear help would be needed. The sailors were obviously very experienced as they quickly got them under way. The coast behind them gradually faded into the horizon.
-
both Lola and Talath watch for a bit longer. They did their to stay out the way. They both watched the land become the sea. It was different than flying over it but still beautiful nonetheless.
-
After several hours of sailing, thet could just make out a heavy fog in the distance ahead.
-
they see the bank of fog rolling in. Lola hopes that they don't get lost in it. Talath doesn't say anything but just keeps walking.
-
As they enter the fog, Lol is able to sense that something isn't natural about it. There's magic in the air.
-
"Something is off here i can sense it"says Lola "You sure ?" says Talath
