Like if you're excited and hyped about the reveal today
I've been awake all night hyped about this reveal. The thought about all the new Content, Weapons and Gear has had me tossing and turning!

12 RepliesAnyone else completely underwhelmed by the reveal? No dedicated servers, all PVP matches reduced to 4v4, still 30fps, no new characters (still titan warlock and hunter), lots of the same enemies from destiny 1. To me it looks like a destiny 1 expansion instead of a new game. It seems like their focus was more on the social aspect in Destiny 2 and not on content.

5 RepliesI don't understand why there are so many people saying "this looks more like an expansion than a sequel" I mean i find it a dumb thing to say on a couple of levels. Firstly its dumb, because, well no shit its an expansion a sequel by its very definition is an expansion! to some extent the game has to be similar! honestly i think the people complaining about it being an expansion are the same people who have been on forums bashing destiny for years and to you i say... just why bother being here? If they overhauled and changed everything it would be closer to an entirely different game than a sequel sequel. But more importantly why would would we want the base mechanics and idea behind the game to change? isn't that the reason we play the game? because we like strikes? because we like raids? what did you want? personally i think the guided games sounds like the best addition so far and the new weapons system looks sick as well unsure about only 4v4 pvp but we'll see how that goes! the new worlds look sick and i love the idea of getting clan rewards when your not playing actually creates a real team feeling i think! really really excited!!

" Looking at comments on the official forums- I think they're talking about a different community. Nothing but cynicism. I enjoyed what I saw. Looking forward to the new supers and subclasses not yet revealed. 4 vs 4 Crucible kind of sucks, but I didn't play it a lot anyway, so it wouldn't really matter to me. I'll probably just end up avoiding it for the most part unless I'm forced into it. The world exploring looks like it'll be fun. With my schedule it can be hard to play with others at times, so it'll give me something to do besides grinding hard mode strikes over and over. And I like how he said "Three stage boss fight" for the strike. Sounds like it won't just be a giant bullet sponge.

Im hyped, all the people complaining about the reveal , its called a reveal not show us every dam thing, but i am a little disappointed in pvp , but i mostly play pve so i will get over it

4 RepliesIs anyone else happy we at least got a back story to Zavala? Like to see of how things began with him, throughout history with battles against enemies, the creation of the tower, etc..like it was awesome to see how that bit actually came together. Truly imo, Zavala is like the father of the Vanguard. Ikora and Cayde are the brother and sister (not related obv) but that's like their place. Brother and sister teachers, with Zavala as the main honcho. And then the other guardians and people make up everything else. If it weren't for Zavala and many others, we wouldn't have had the tower to call our home as we have in Destiny 1.
