Actually using existing systems in new games has been a thing thing games were invented. Fps wasnt a genre. Formerly called doom clone. Very few if any new mechanics exist these days in the AAA gaming sphere. Watching the gameplay reveal it looks exactly like the original destiny with a slightly different UI and HUD. Comparing it to another FPS because it is an FPS is fairly asinine at this point because all fps are inherently similar at their core. How tight they feel to play is what matters. Fps are limited by the vary nature of them as to how they can be done. But if you feel a sifi fantasy miltiplayer pve fps is the same as a modern wartime pvp shooter and a cartoonish pvp shooter with angry gorillas, sentient ai racisim and a hellscape nightmare on mars with literal demons and trips to hell thats your prerogative

  • Hmm weird myself and all of my buddies agree that it looks like call of duty meets overwatch. The PvP looks nothing like destiny 1 but the above 2 stated games combined into one. Obviously its an FPS you could put yourself in control of a monkey that shoots bananas and that would also be an FPS 😂. I compared it to the two above stated games because it looks eerily similar to both of them, about the only thing its missing is wall running. Doom wasn't the first FPS game by the way but its a cute attempt. Way to keep trying to look hip and edgy 😂
