Then, there was a light knock on the door that interrupted his thought. It made a small tune that Can could make out as the banging on the wood had a beat.

"It's not just that. Bella and Diana are missing, and I don't think it's coincidental." Cannon said in a hushed tone.
-
"...What are you saying, Can?" Yuri asked him. He raised his eyebrow as he spoke, as if he knew the assumption Can was going to make.
-
"I'm saying a mysterious death followed by two people dissapearing can't be coincidental. They're linked."
-
"I was drawing such a conclusion myself." Yuri told Can. "We should check around town. Ensure that Diana and Bella are actually gone. They could be around here but it's unlike Bella to be up after curfew."
-
"She left her dagger. She never leaves her dagger." Cannon pointed out. "Something's going down here, and I don't think it's the Grenwalds."
-
Yuri turned away from Can for a moment. Before he brought his attention to Can. "Can, you have been here for a short amount of time. But you have worked flawlessly. Not only that you have gotten to get closer to Diana then most have been able to. Tell me, do you trust her?" Yuri asked Can. It seemed almost out of the blue but Can was aware of the contempt towards Diana.

"No. I don't trust her, and the more I've gotten to know her the less I trust her. She's insane, and she has Ulfric wrapped around her finger." He prayed silently that this wouldn't stab him in the back.
-
"....precisely." Yuri told Can. "Canderouse, you are not pulling my leg are you? Everything you have told me now is what you TRULY feel? And Think?"
-
"Do I have reason to lie?"
-
"No. No I suppose you don't." Yuri said with caution as he looked around. He took a step closer to Can. "I have a suspicious that Diana took Bella. She also killed Marzia as a distraction to leave." He told Can in a hushed tone. "Now I know it sounds far fetched, but so is that woman. I found her sister, Lilly Coldbourne, in the woods a few days ago. Diana had her own sister imprisoned."
-
"That's... Honestly not surprising. We need to find her before she hurts Bella... But what about Ulfric? He'll never believe us, and I wouldn't be surprised if he kills the prisoners with the rage he's in."
-
"...I sense a war brewing brother." Yuri told Can. "It is likely that Ulfric will get the location of the grenwalds from the prisoners no matter what we say. However we may be able to postpone the war. That, or we could accelerate it. If we tell Ulfric Diana and Bella are gone he could go to war instantly. We can go now, or we can talk to Ulfric. It is your choice."
-
"We need to prospone the war. If we're right, then the Grenwalds are innocent in this case." Cannon replied solemnly.
-
"In this case." Yuri emphasized. Cannon had to realize that this man was still a Tokage at heart. "But yes. If we were to attack the grenwalds...the death count would be too high. For both sides. Let us speak with Ulfric and tell him what's going on. Maybe he will listen."
-
"I doubt it. Convincing him Diana is crazy? He won't believe us."
-
"Then what do you propose? We are wasting valuable time here Canderouse. If he wants to go to war with the Grenwalds, Marzia's death is the greatest of excuses! The only way to postpone this war is to convince him Diana kidnapped Bella and killed Marzia. We do that, or we stop wasting our time and tail Diana!"
-
"You're right. But we don't have any evidence to support our claim, do we?" He asked, thinking up a plan as he did.
-
"No. No we do not. If that's the case we have to go, now. We are wasting time standing around like this." Yuri told Can. Now he was getting impatient.
-
"Alright. We follow Diana and Bella. Unless you'd rather we split up and one try to convince Ulfric." Cannon decided, slinging his bow over his shoulder.
-
"How good are you at tracking, Canderouse? Diana is smart enough to cover her tracks. But I'll be able to pick up on them." Yuri told Can.
-
"I can track well enough." He replied. In truth, he'd trained for years to be able to track through terrain much harsher than these woods.
-
"Alright. I will stay here and keep track of the developments. You on the other hand must go with haste!"
-
Cannon nodded and took off toward the gate.
-
Yuri nodded to Can as well as he went back into the town. As Can approached the gate he saw the guard standing there. He looked at Cannon suspiciously. "Hey. Where are you off too?" The guard asked Can as he blocked the exit.
-
"Has anyone passed this way?" He demanded, keeping his cloak hood low and changing his voice so he would pass for anyone.
