"Can? Can?!" Bella called out as she stayed in the home and was silenced by Cannon closing the door.
Ulfric walked with haste, and Can saw the crowd. In the main market area all of the red and purple cloaked men and women gathered around something. Ulfric pushed through, which cleared a way for Can, and the two made their way to the front where Cannon saw the body.
It was Marzia, the tailor who had given Can what he was wearing. She had an arrow pierced through her heart and her face was pale and her eyes were lifelessly open.
"What happened?!" Ulfric asked as he looked around.

"Alright. We follow Diana and Bella. Unless you'd rather we split up and one try to convince Ulfric." Cannon decided, slinging his bow over his shoulder.

"How good are you at tracking, Canderouse? Diana is smart enough to cover her tracks. But I'll be able to pick up on them." Yuri told Can.

"I can track well enough." He replied. In truth, he'd trained for years to be able to track through terrain much harsher than these woods.

"Alright. I will stay here and keep track of the developments. You on the other hand must go with haste!"

Cannon nodded and took off toward the gate.

Yuri nodded to Can as well as he went back into the town. As Can approached the gate he saw the guard standing there. He looked at Cannon suspiciously. "Hey. Where are you off too?" The guard asked Can as he blocked the exit.

"Has anyone passed this way?" He demanded, keeping his cloak hood low and changing his voice so he would pass for anyone.

"No. I didn't. No one has passed through here." The man told Can almost defensively. "Where are you off too? It's nearly midnight."

"Bella is missing. I'm heading out to look for her."

"...That so." The man said. Though, Cannon picked up on it. It wasn't a question...it was a statement.

"Yes. Now let me by." He tried to pass him.

The man stopped Can for a moment then looked down on him. His face was built and incredibly scarred, and he looked incapable of breaking a smile. But, he stepped to the side, and opened the gate. "Best of luck. But be careful. The woods are a different place in the dark..." he told Cannon incredibly ominous like.

"Thanks." With that Cannon wad off, his augmented eyes allowing him to see in the dark.

As his abilities spiked, he saw what he should have expected. What he saw was like a hologram. It predicted what happened based off foot patterns and a thousand other things Cannon could have listed. What he saw was Diana Coldbourne, walking through the tunnel, with an unconscious Bella in her arms. [spoiler]End of chapter 28![/spoiler]
