"You said it yourself, the ride will take a couple hours." Cylus responds. "There's no time like the present."

"For now, I'll give a brief overview." Carly said, before launching into a massive discussion https://www.bungie.net/en/Clan/Post/1677784/225104898/0/0/1

Cylus reads the files and raises an eyebrow. "Staff Sergeant Carly?" he asks. "This whole Titan War seems to be more complicated than this excerpt says. It's... Fascinating you could say."
-
"Yeah, it is easy to find interesting until you're taking part in the shit show." Carly sighed, looking to the side
-
"And I assume I will be as soon as my training is completed... Correct?" Cylus asks
-
"Well no, not immediately afterwards at least. You'll need to be officially indoctrinated into our ranks. With a small ceremony." Carly sighed slightly, looking up at him "To symbolize how all those who wish to fight for our cause, are individually respected and believed to be heroes." "It's all very cliché."
-
"Ah well I do love me a celebration." Cylus says childishly. "And rest assured, I can definitely bring something new to the table. Maybe you'll see one day." He smirks, looking at Carly. "So what will happen once we get to our destination Sergeant? You're the boss here."
-
"Once we actually arrive at the station, you'll be taken to one of the testing areas where you'll show off some of your tech, and give us permission to copy some of it. After some tests are done, and hardware copied, you'll be trained with Titans."
-
"Sounds like a plan." Cylus says. "How much longer until we arrive?"
-
"Some time. You want to explore? Or I can get a grunt to take you to your quarters.
-
"I'll go ahead and go to my quarters, thank you. I have to prepare what I have for presentation while I still have time."
-
"Smart man." She said, tapping a button on the console that caused two troops to enter the bay "See you when I see you." Carly said, as Cylus was taken to his room

Edited by BondyMilk: 5/23/2017 3:07:41 AMWhen he entered the quarters, Cylus placed his helmet and case on the small table. He quickly dialed in the combination and unlocked the case, removing some of its contents. He gently lifted a small metallic sphere from its place, placing it on a work base. He hooked up the base to the nearest power source, and in reaction, the sphere began to open down the middle. Inside was what appeared to be a transparent box. "Okay, you can do this." he muttered to himself. He shut off the lights and put his helmet on, carefully observing the box. He flipped a switch on the work base and watched as the box began to hum and glow. Pulling a tablet out of the work case, he begins taking notes and recording the process. The hum of the box soon becomes louder, and he watches as a small spark of blue light sputtered inside.
"The arc reactor is still extremely unstable and cannot maintain its shape. Suggestion: using electro magnetic fields and high kinetic frequencies in attempts to stabilize and/or manipulate it" he comments. "Maybe they'll have the correct type of technology in the labs." He flips the switch once again and the hum began to fade away.
As time passed, he conducted different tests on the reactor and other projects he had been holding in his case. His only hope was that what he had would be of help to the Militia, and that he could make his partner proud.

After what seemed like a few moments, but was more realistically a few hours, there was a knocking at his door with the voice of a troop outside. "We've arrived." Was all the voice said before falling silent, awaiting Cylus

He lifted the strap over his shoulder and carried it out of the room, turning to the men who Carly had bring him to his quarters. "Lead the way," he said, following them down the halls.
-
Instead of leading him to the tech Bay, Cylus was escorted to the cargo bay. Or at least, the equivalent to it Carly waved at him as a large ramp dropped, leading to the ground outside the ship "Welcome to station Seven." Carly said, going down the ramp
-
"It's nice." Cylus comments. "Never been in space before." He walks up to Carly, looking around and taking in his surroundings. "So where is the lab we'll be going to?" he asks, lifting up his case.
-
"You're looking at it. This whole station has a dozen different labs and Stations that look through individual things. So really, the station is the lab."
-
"Well, you lead the way." Cylus says.
-
"It's going to depend. I don't exactly know where to take you? Engineering maybe? Experimental... Research and development? What kind of tech is it?"
-
Cylus thinks for a moment, briefly looking down at his case. "Well it is far past research and development, but still highly experimental, nothing is completely stable yet. I think we should start there."
-
"That's where we'll go then." Carly smiled, walking through a doorway and into a hallway
-
Cylus followed Carly through the door, talking himself through the process. "So these scientists are going to help me fully complete my tests ... Well, as long as I give permission to replicate it." As they walk down the hallway, Cylus takes in his surroundings, the sleek metallic battle ship interior striking him in awe with every step.
-
"Hey, hey, hey, slow down there!" Carly said to him as she stopped outside a sleek doorway. "Slow down there." She said, pulling him back
-
"Uh, did I do something wrong?" he asks, confused
-
"You zoned out. This is our turn." She said, opening the sleek doorway into a secondary, shorter hallway. "
