Any of you have a 2014-2016 Dodge Ram diesel?
Expect a recall sometime in the near future.

Just like Volkswagen was found guilty of last year and had to pay BILLIONS, Fiat / Chrysler seems to have been caught

The upcoming fine won't be nearly as steep as VW's was, for it is far fewer vehicles, but this still is going to sting the corporation good.

Well, I don't have a dodge but I have a Ford fiesta and it was just recalled because apparently my doors can just break.

Who's next, GM or Ford? Either way, diesel regulations have asked for a lot in a short time. Technology just needs a chance to catch up.

^%#* the EPA!

Edited by Gravy Train: 5/24/2017 7:56:53 PMAs someone affected by the Volkswagen diesel scandal I must say, I made out pretty well. Not only did they buy my car back but they gave me extra cash as well. I was able to get a newer car with less miles and still pocket a few grand. Hopefully those affected by the diesel Dodges will benefit as well.

I really wonder how this and the VW scandal will affect diesel as a whole.

Sorry they got caught.
-
Too bad they got caught. It be a better story if they just ignored the fines and mooned the government while flipping them off or better yet wipe their butts with the money and deliver it personally
-
Big deal, if you're driving a diesel that's pass its warranty and haven't had the DPF and EGR removed, you're doing it wrong.
-
They didn't learn from VW, huh?

That title was kinda hard to read the first time I looked at it
