"Hey, hey, hey, slow down there!" Carly said to him as she stopped outside a sleek doorway.
"Slow down there." She said, pulling him back
English
-
"Uh, did I do something wrong?" he asks, confused
-
"You zoned out. This is our turn." She said, opening the sleek doorway into a secondary, shorter hallway. "
-
"My bad, still taken aback by the whole space thing. So how big is this anyways?" he asks, walking beside her.
-
"The station is somewhat massive. It's like an airport, if you've ever seen one." Carly said, turning a corner and entering a doorway that led into A larger Bay area. Podium like structures were dotted throughout, with strange technology sitting on most of them. Some were nothing more than a glass box with a small item in it and others were a full suit of armour
-
"Impressive" Cylus comments. He walks with Carly and looks at all the technology around him. "So, where do we set up shop?" he asks
-
"In the testing area." Carly pointed towards a set of blast doors, ones that were supposed to survive in the case of a crash landing. "See the full extent of the gear."
-
"Well, at least if this thing explodes we know the guys outside will be safe." Cylus says. "Shall we?"
-
"Yup." The blast doors opened as Carly input a code, going into a larger open area with several different areas of testing using various things. Arc energy, a solar shot and so on
-
As Cylus follows, he gapes in awe at the multiple projects he passes. "These are amazing! If we can pull this off, it will definitely revolutionize the Militia's tech. Near unlimited power sources the size of Legos." he says. "We're going to do great things here, Carly."
-
"Yeah, if we actually pull it off than we'll actually be able to replicate a dozen other projects that we haven't been able to before. We need that tech. It would change the war..." Carly stopped, drifting off in thought
-
"Well, I owe it all to my partner. Rachel would have been proud." he says with a sigh. "It's a shame she can't be here, but hey, we've got to keep moving."
-
"Continuing on with life is essential to survival sometimes. It's always good to mourn though...."
-
is it okay if I use Carly saying this as a quote for Cylus' plot, it would really help out!
-
Yeah sure, feel free!!!
-
"Of course." Cylus says as he proceeds with Carly
-
"Vaughn!!" Carly yelled, looking around the testing area as a man perked up from behind one of the podiums https://imgur.com/PBxlfG8 "Ay, lassie? Ye brought a friend?" The man, apparently Vaughn, said
-
Cylus approached the man, and immediately took notice of his cybernetic arm. It may or may not have been so subtle. "My name's Cylus, nice to meet you." he says, extending his free hand.
-
"Ello laddy, Name's Vaughn." The man shook Cylus' hand with his Cybernetic one, giving an extremely firm shake "Vaughn here has been with the Militia since before it was the Militia." Carly said almost proudly of that fact "An' yet, we are da same rank. Foking Sargent..." Vaughn sounded slightly irked by this fact, but Carly only laughed
-
Love the accent!
"Well, nice to meet you Vaughn. I'm the new guy with some revolutionary tech" Cylus says, looking between him and Carly
-
Thanks!!
"Speaking of tech! Show it off!" Carly pointed towards an empty podium.
-
"Of course! Let's get right to it." Cylus says. He hurries over to the podium and sets the case next to it. Dialing in the code, he opens it and begins removing its contents, arranging them in organized rows. Along the lines are different types of weapons, tools, and other projects Cylus had been working on. At the end of the row was his arc reactor, which he had already carefully laid out onto the base plate. He held the cord in the air and looked to Carly, "Now all we need is a little juice."
-
"Wat kinda juice ya need?" Vaughn looked through some of the items before looking at the cord
-
"Any power source ya got" Cylus says. "We'll start with the arc reactor."
-
Vaughn took the cord, plugging it into a small slit that was on the side of the podium The cord pumped energy into the reactor at a slow pace
-
Soon enough, just like on the ship, the small sphere began to open up. "Can we get the lights out in here? And uh, I'd also advise goggles." Cylus says, watching as the small transparent box is revealed.
