As Cylus follows, he gapes in awe at the multiple projects he passes. "These are amazing! If we can pull this off, it will definitely revolutionize the Militia's tech. Near unlimited power sources the size of Legos." he says. "We're going to do great things here, Carly."

"Yeah, if we actually pull it off than we'll actually be able to replicate a dozen other projects that we haven't been able to before. We need that tech. It would change the war..." Carly stopped, drifting off in thought
-
"Well, I owe it all to my partner. Rachel would have been proud." he says with a sigh. "It's a shame she can't be here, but hey, we've got to keep moving."
-
"Continuing on with life is essential to survival sometimes. It's always good to mourn though...."
is it okay if I use Carly saying this as a quote for Cylus' plot, it would really help out!
-
Yeah sure, feel free!!!
-
"Of course." Cylus says as he proceeds with Carly
-
"Vaughn!!" Carly yelled, looking around the testing area as a man perked up from behind one of the podiums https://imgur.com/PBxlfG8 "Ay, lassie? Ye brought a friend?" The man, apparently Vaughn, said
-
Cylus approached the man, and immediately took notice of his cybernetic arm. It may or may not have been so subtle. "My name's Cylus, nice to meet you." he says, extending his free hand.
-
"Ello laddy, Name's Vaughn." The man shook Cylus' hand with his Cybernetic one, giving an extremely firm shake "Vaughn here has been with the Militia since before it was the Militia." Carly said almost proudly of that fact "An' yet, we are da same rank. Foking Sargent..." Vaughn sounded slightly irked by this fact, but Carly only laughed
-
Love the accent!
"Well, nice to meet you Vaughn. I'm the new guy with some revolutionary tech" Cylus says, looking between him and Carly
-
Thanks!!
"Speaking of tech! Show it off!" Carly pointed towards an empty podium.
-
"Of course! Let's get right to it." Cylus says. He hurries over to the podium and sets the case next to it. Dialing in the code, he opens it and begins removing its contents, arranging them in organized rows. Along the lines are different types of weapons, tools, and other projects Cylus had been working on. At the end of the row was his arc reactor, which he had already carefully laid out onto the base plate. He held the cord in the air and looked to Carly, "Now all we need is a little juice."
-
"Wat kinda juice ya need?" Vaughn looked through some of the items before looking at the cord
-
"Any power source ya got" Cylus says. "We'll start with the arc reactor."
-
Vaughn took the cord, plugging it into a small slit that was on the side of the podium The cord pumped energy into the reactor at a slow pace
-
Soon enough, just like on the ship, the small sphere began to open up. "Can we get the lights out in here? And uh, I'd also advise goggles." Cylus says, watching as the small transparent box is revealed.
-
"MIKE! THE LIGHTS!!" Carly yelled as the lights were shut off. Vaughn's Cybernetic arm opened a small slit and a pair of goggles exited, which he promptly put on Carly's blue visor was all she had, but she felt confident it would be enough

"All right" he said with a breath As the lights were turned out, the bright glow of the small cube filled the room. The low hum became audible once more, and Cylus rubbed his hands together in approval. "This is the experimental Arc Reactor my partner Rachel and I were working on. She had figured out how to use some technology she "found" to create this white barrier that you see before you. This is simply a vessel for what is to come." he says. With a flick of a switch, the light briefly becomes brighter with a tint of blue. Small sparks of blue electricity began to sputter within the box, before taking shape of a small orb. It was extremely unstable, as it kept shooting stray bolts at the barrier's walls. "This is the Arc Energy we've managed to trap within the barrier, but so far we haven't been able to put it to use. It is too dangerous to use for anything." Cylus says. Moments later, the orb begins to hum louder, and vibrations rattle the podium and everything on it. Cylus quickly flips the switch and it begins to die out. "As you can see, if I were to leave it on any longer, we'd all be dead. That's where you come in" he says looking to Vaughn. "I was thinking some sort of electromagnetic field or high kinetic frequency could help stabilize it so we can utilize it. What do you think?"
-
"Kinetic Frequency... Aye. The Frequency could stabilize da Inner cells of da device.... Do Ye hav any propositions for blassing it safely?" Vaughn sounded almost amazed at the tech, but not as a greatly as one might expect
-
Edited by BondyMilk: 5/25/2017 2:30:05 AM"Hrm" Cylus thinks for a moment, and then his face lights up. "Maybe some sort of resonance chamber could be slightly altered to fit the type of frequency that we need, and we could go from there!"
-
"Ay! A resonance Chamba!" The lights throughout the room came back on and Vaughn took off his goggles, his Cybernetic arm closing as he started walking "Grab the Arc. We're about to fix it the hell up." Carly said joyfully, looking at the other stuff "You can leave the rest. Probably won't be robbed.
-
"Probably?" Cylus asks, as he puts the reactor in the case. "Well, I do pity the fool who comes in here and tries to steal my stuff." He hurries and follows behind Vaughn and Carly, excited for what is to come.
-
Vaughn had only gone to the other end of the room, where a large chamber sat. Vaughn opened a small hatch on the chamber and motioned for Cylus to put his head in the chamber "Take a look aht Wat we got 'ere"
-
Cylus dropped the case and stuck his head in. "Roomy." Cylus said, his voice echoing in the chamber
-
Speakers lined the entire inner chamber with a glass look-in across from where Cylus' head was "You think it'll work?" Carly asked, looking at Chamber. "Should." Vaughn pulled Cylus out, looking at Cylus for reassurance
