Machine Guns
Why were they taken out of Destiny 2? Does anyone have any insight? Mods? @deej @cozmo?
The Exotic Machine Guns had actual lore behind them. What are we to think about those stories now?

People would almost always use them because they're so powerful, accurate, and have more ammo than anything else would. Even if they weren't as accurate I'm sure people would find the right perks for them.

Because sidearms outshoot them all the time. Sidearms in power slot.

Part of me thinks it's just so they can have 6/6/6 in each slot regarding weapon options.
