Just a friendly reminder that today is not National BBQ Day. It is a day to remember our fallen veterans. For those of you blessed enough to have the day off. Be thankful. You have that luxury because of those who gave their lives in service to this country. So when you go to the beach or fire up your grill, remember why you can do so today.
Sincerely,
An Army Vet.

P.S.
Don't thank a living vet today. It's insulting. Today is not for us, it is for our fallen comrades. Have a blessed day.

ANZAC day was a while ago. I'm betting you're talking about the US version of that.

Side note: when is national BBQ day?

"Friendly reminder" Read the comments everyone to see the OP vet lose his shit on a "civvy". Lol

Just a question....what day is national bbq day?
-
Should we not drink on Cinco de Mayo to deeply observe Hispanic customs too?
-
And neither is it 'be an ass to civilians because I'm in the military day'.
