The Titanic Contractee... Mutant?
0300 hours
This post will involve a boss fight.
Roaming the streets of Dojoville so early in the morning was a rather skinny, poor looking man–with a rather panicked expression. He donned the robes of an alchemist, and the ring of a scholar–items that many would recognize from a famous village in the Gem Islands–not too far from Dojoville, actually.
His roaming began to speed into sprints as he searched for people on the streets at such a late hour, until the alchemist bumped into a man rounding a corner. Said man was about 5'11", and donned a black trench coat; his hair was jet black, and his eyes were green. On his back was a large, 4'6" greatsword; on his belt was a holstered handgun, and equipped in his right hand was a rifle. They were all custom-built, their models unknown–even their materials, undeterminable. Meanwhile, his left arm was cybernetic; a gunmetal gray color.
As the alchemist bumped into the man, Vance, he stopped him.
"What's wrong?" Vance asked calmly; the alchemist struggled to catch his breath and calm himself, before he finally replied.
"Th-there's a monster that recently emerged on the Gem Islands. It's absolutely massive–60 feet tall, I tell you–and our attacks on it have been futile. It's been destroying our land, our livelihood... I've come to ask the Dojo for aid, with promise of reward. I also come with knowledge of how specifically beat him–all you would really need to do is follow my instruction!" There was pleading in his eyes, voice, and expression.
"Please–for you warriors it should be easy loot and money, but it would save countless lives on the Gem Islands!"
At this point, his voice was loud enough for any bystander to hear clearly.
Open–this will lead to a boss fight, obviously. And there will be loot and money.
Cylus, as always, was out early on his stroll. He heard the man in the alchemist's coat shouting hysterically, so he decided to go check it out. When he neared the corner, he saw two men standing, the alchemist talking frantically. The other seemed like a shady fellow, a dark trench coat, matching his equally dark hair and brooding face. Cylus immediately recognized his old friend. Vance. "Please–for you warriors it should be easy loot and money, but it would save countless lives on the Gem Islands!" He heard the man tell Vance. Cylus approached, stepping out of the shadows and making his presence known. "Hello old friend, what have you gotten into this time?"

Many had heard the tale of the son of a mad pair. Ornstein, Slayer of Dragons that had once gone crazy In search of the first flame. And Nora, Pyromaniac of the Blue Flames that had been resurrected by the son of Garuud, God of the Underworld. The tale told of their son, a mad Mage with a thirst for the blood of demons and angels, and monsters. Anything. Telling his story of losing himself, of murder, and becoming a Mandalorian to explore the universe, only to destroy the Mandalorian order single handed. Granted, there were very few things In this tale that were actually true, but one thing was certain. He had heard. https://imgur.com/k8HVg7r A Man clad in the armour of a Mandalorian, with a set of strange eyes adorned upon his helmet stepped forward, Clapping Vance on the back. "Loot you say?" The Mandalorian asked, removing his hand and patting the alchemist on the shoulder "I'm in."
-
"The hell is some sci-fi, Star Wars looking dude clapping me on the back for?" Vance said as he turned his head to look at the Mandalorian. Meanwhile, the alchemist nodded in appreciation. The alchemist pulled three flasks from a drawstring bag on his shoulder; he handed one to Vance and one to Nathaniel, before speaking. "This potion will warp you to the location. More details will be explained there."
-
"You're here. I'm assuming you're coming, so it looks like we're partners for this endeavor! No need to be an edgy wannabe Tenth Doctor now... With the Trench coat and all." The Mandalorian said, taking the flask and nodding in thanks to the alchemist
-
"Hey, it's just a trench coat, man. It was there, I was naked, the scientists were jackasses; robbery isn't all bad." Vance took the flask as well, uncapped it, and drank. So did the alchemist.
-
Nathaniel unclasped his helmet, swigging the drink down and putting his helmet back on before Vance could get a look
-
As Nathaniel drank from the flask, Vance and the alchemist did, as well. The fluid was clear, tasteless–it would go down easily. Suddenly, they were warped indeed–in moments they had arrived in the midst of a village... or what used to be a village. Scenery It was a hellish landscape. To think that it used to be a village is... difficult to believe. In the distance was the target–very far away, but it was massive. 60 feet tall indeed. Boss There was a massive alchemic circle about a hundred yards away from the group, between them and the titan. There was an invisible circle surrounding the alchemic circle, 50 feet radius. Three beings stood on the circle, equally distanced from each other. Each was about seven feet tall. A minotaur, a huntress, and a mage. "Okay; see those three around the circle? They each have an ingredient on the to create a potion. Said potion will weaken the titan momentarily to lower his defenses, and allow him to be attacked. This ingredient can only be obtained upon the target's death, and they will respawn at the end of the titan's shortly weakened period. I can brew this potion, called Titanbane, but I will need the materials; additionally I need to be inside the alchemic circle. The titan while focus on me the moment I begin brewing. Your jobs are to first kill those three, then manage to distract the titan while I brew; afterwards, bait him to use a roar, which we believe increases his attack power. I will throw the potion in, and you will proceed to attack. Questions?"
-
"Who the hell are the three of those bastards?" The Mandalorian asked, pointing at The Minotaur, Huntress and Mage
-
"They can be rather annoying," The alchemist agreed. "The thing that appears afterwards might be more so, however." "I call dips on killing the motherfuсker with the greataxe!" Vance called out, entering a battle stance. He drew his greatsword from his back, showing the inhuman strength required to lift the 4'6" blade with only one hand. The other arm, the cybernetic one, glowed a bright green from the joints; the energy amplifier in the wrist of the mechanical arm was warming up.
-
"We should fight them together, Doctor. It'd be easier to take them down that way." The Mandalorian said as dual nickel plated revolvers formed in his hands
-
"Sixty feet? That is nothing. What does the monster look like?" Fortis asked him.
-
"You'd get a better description if you saw in person," The alchemist replied truthfully. "But for the most part, it's humanoid." Vance nodded. "I'll go."
-
"I'll come along. I like the sound of loot." Fortis said. "So where is this island?"
-
One Dean DeCorbin's interest was peaked by this, as he had been learning the lay of the land. He had his helmet off, as he approached. "I heard there was a problem?" He says. He looked like a warrior, that was for sure.
-
"There indeed is a problem," The alchemist agreed vigorously as Vance turned his head over his shoulder to face Dean. "In the form of 60 foot tall giant, threatening the existence of people on the Gem Islands... we must make haste if you are to help." "I'm willing to help," Vance said.
-
"Only an idiot would go alone. If you need help, I'm in. Need something to do while I'm off duty anyways. We know if this thing is vulnerable to lead?" The man says inquisitively, resing a hand on his balde's pommel
-
"We know only one weakness–one that can be exploited if done properly." The alchemist nodded, pulling three flasks from his drawstring bag. He handed one to Vance, one to Dean. "Drinking this will warp you to the area we need to go. Whenever you're ready."
-
"I feel like you should tell us the weakness. A combat zone is no place for civilians." He says, his natural military response kicking in.
-
"The civilians at the locations are all dead, sir!" The alchemist cried. "His weakness is a potion called Titanbane, which I can only brew there!" "Alright, alright, quit wasting time like middle aged women arguing over which dress," Vance interrupted.
-
"I trust you about as much as I trust a Witch." He says, glaring at the man. "Let's get this show on the road. Bottoms up." He says, drinking the potion

"Nope, but dibs on the Witch." He says as he pulls the bolt back on the assault rifle, clearly referring to the mage. He was ready for a fight
-
"Sure," Vance replied, before lifting his greatsword up with his right hand. He lifted the 4'6" blade with relative ease in a single hand, showing inhuman strength. Meanwhile, his cybernetic arm glowed a bright green from the joints, as a special amplifier in the wrist of the mechanical arm did its work. Vance made his way towards the minotaur, waiting for Dean to engage the mage first so he wouldn't have to worry about ranged fire while fighting in close quarters.
-
He moved at the Witch as he began firing, making his body as small as he could when he did so to avoid being hit. His gun would tear through the creature if it wasn't armoured.
-
Rook approaches the pleading alchemist. He seems interested in helping. "Sorry, I couldn't help but overhear the conversation. But, monster? If you still need help, I guess I would be up for challenge."
