There's lots of offline/single player stuff to do for those of you who don't take the game so seriously. It's no fun getting your face kicked in when you just want to have a good time, so there's lots of stuff you can do besides online fights :)

I remember playing the first Tekken in an arcade when in Hong Kong during my time in the Navy. I thought the gameplay was incredible and fell in love with it. I have a lot of fond memories of that game and as far as multiplayer goes I only ever enjoyed it with friends. It never felt "sweaty", just fun. We would laugh and go back and forth beating the snot out of each other as we "oohed and awed" at some moves and sweet evades. I don't think I could get the same satisfaction out of the anonymous competitive online mode as I did then. I wouldn't mind playing the regular game though.
