Isaac's eyes suddenly widened, as both he and Arianna dropped to the ground - Arianna was significantly faster than him, so she was already upon the stone flooring before her brother.

However, they soon realized the sounds came from far ahead. The sudden flashes revealed to Ari that the cave turned up ahead. No bullets were being fired at them or around them.
-
Sighing as if relieved, Arianna stood up, although still crouching, as she began to approach the gunfire. Isaac shook his head worryingly, as he followed.
-
She came to a turn where as she looked right she saw a staircase. It was not pitch black where she stood now as she looked up and saw a wide opened door where the flashes of gunfire seemed to be coming from. She heard yelling. It came from a man, as well as a woman. But she couldn't hear them just right.
-
Arianna sighed, as she drew her gun and began to approach evermore - perhaps helping these people against their foes would lead to more allies..
-
As she walked into the room, all she saw was two torches that seemed to be taking place on opposite sides of a hallway that lead into the larger room. The dead creatures ran into the room but were dropped as soon as they ran past the torches by gunfire.
-
"Don't run past the torches," Arianna murmured to Isaac, who merely nodded and sighed - he had no firearms, which was a massive disadvantage for him since he was so good with guns. Arianna still had her pistol and nodachi/sniper, though she regularly used her nodachi. Arianna decided against charging in to assist the survivors, but instead began to wait to see just how many undead were actually there.
-
The undead dropped one after one. But soon enough, they stopped coming. The gunfire stopped and a voice bellowed through the darkness. "God damnit! You have got to be fucking kidding me with these things!" Said the voice riddled with the signature Celtic accent. "Oh stop complaining and grab a torch you big baby." Said a woman. "I already feel like someone is watching us right now." "Ya, ya I'll do it ya damned pirate." The man said as Ari heard footsteps making their way to the torch.
-
"Jesus-" Arianna blurted out, staying in the darkness although her hands were raised. She was being deceptive if anything - working with someone was the best thing she had here, and she didn't want them to know that she had been watching. "...I assume you two are.. the ones firing on those things?"
-
"What?! Who's there?!" Yelled the man as one of the torches was grabbed off the wall. The light walked over to Ari, where she then saw the figures face as he held the torch up beside him. He had a large head, long ginger hair and a long dirty beard. This man was-" "HA! ARIANNA!" Jarl Haakon declared as he grabbed the girl in a surprised and bear hugged the breath out of her. "HAHA! THIS IS HILARIOUS!"
-
"Holy SHIT-" Arianna laughed, as she accepted the almost choking hug, as Isaac stared confusingly at the two. "How the hell are you still alive?!" The girl smiled, shaking her head.
-
"I would ask the same as you two!" Said the woman. She brought up the torch, which revealed none other than Scarlett, the two's captain on their way to the isles. Hakon dropped Ari to the ground and bellowed in laughter. "THE COINCIDENCE OF ALL OF THIS! HA! ITS AMAZING!" He bellowed.
-
"I KNOW!!" Arianna shouted. Isaac, meanwhile, was mostly questioning the coincidence of the two surviving, and how the Jarl knew just how much of a coincidence it was - unless Scarlett had told him, of course. Isaac was silent for the time-being, though.
-
"Well, it doesn't really matter in the end now does it?" Scarlett said. "Now...we need to get out of here, now." "What?! Why?! We have these two kids now! It'll be like we are hitting those dead with a moving brick wall!"
-
"Not to ruin your day, Jarl - but we have a Coldbourne to kill. Asshole who started this mess in the first place." Arianna crossed her arms, notifying the man of Felix's existence and involvement with the zombies.
-
"Ya, I figured that out when he raided my damned island!" Haakon told her. "The bastard came up on us with a hail marry. "Surrender or be turned!" He told everyone. Godamm it was a fine mess. I was on the coast and tried to hold the bastards off, but no dice! They kept coming like ants from their hill! So, with my entire guard detail dead, I made my way around the island to the hidden cove. But on they way there, I found this Lass!" Haakon declared as he slapped Scarlett on the back. She gave him a glare before she turned to Isaac and Ari. "Yes...my hero." She said sarcastically. "Once Haakon and I recovered we planned to get into the castle using the passages so we could take down Felix."
-
"So this is the hidden cove, I presume?" Arianna mentioned, staring up at the walls of the area that the four were encased within. "And you mentioned that the passages that you were taking could lead to the castle.. how far away are they? We should likely get moving soon, really.."
-
"Well, they start right there!" Haakon bellowed as he pointed to the passage filled with corpses. "We were getting outta here, but now that you kids are here, we can clear that castle like I clear dinner on thanksgiving! Ha!" "Or, we leave now and save ourselves." Scarlett said. She looked at Ari, then to Isaac. "Clearly not all of us are fit for duty. And even then, we are outnumbered a hundred to one! We have to fight a small army through the castle just so that we can make it to the throne room!"
-
"So?" Arianna looked over at Scarlett, crossing her arms. "Every moment that we waste, this is getting worse and worse. If we run now, Felix will consume these mountains - he'll head to the mainland and corrupt everything there. We need to end his plague, here and now."
-
"Aye! I agree with the girl!" Haakon obviously agreed to. "Let's go kick some ass, rather then talking about doing it!" Scarlett shook her head before she looked to the group. "Okay, fine. Let's do this. But we have to be careful, otherwise we're screwed."
-
"Lead the way, Jarl." Arianna nodded towards the burly man, pistol drawn as she then nodded towards Isaac. They had to get moving, and fast.
-
"You don't have to ask me twice!" The jarl said as he cocked the side of his massive light machine gun. It appeared to have blood covering the end of its white barrel. Scarlett flipped her sword in her hand, and Isaac noticed that there was a gun attached to the hilt and the barrel made its way up the side of the blade. The Jarl immediately barged down the hallway loudly, and the group followed behind his lead. They walked for some time, making a few turns and walking over the corpses of the dead. Then, they got to a think hallway where there was a door at the end. It was pushed open, which showed the light within the next room. "Ha! There it is! The grand ballroom!" He exclaimed. "We gotta make our way through there and get to the throne room! Which is at the middle of the castle! Right now we're five stories down in the mountain!" -
"We got a plan, or are we slaughtering everything in sight?" Arianna questioned, her sword drawn as energy pumped through her body intensely. Isaac began to concentrate, knowing that he could use his blood manipulation for some rather gruesome kills.
-
"What do you think?!" The Jarl asked with a huge smile. "We get through the ballroom, and make our way to the throne room." Scarlett said. "Then, we put Felix Coldbourne's head on a fucking pike! HYAAAA!" Haakon yelled as he sprinted into the ballroom, immediately open firing.
-
Arianna didn't bother, as her Aura kicked in: taking position beside the Jarl, she began swinging her blade rapidly, waves of compacted energy tearing through undead. Those that came close suddenly exploded in a mess of gore, or were impaled by spikes of blood that protruded from their bodies, or were shredded from the inside: Isaac was gruesomely slaughtering them with their own life source.
-
Dozens of the dead continued to rush at the group. The ballroom was massive in its size. It was stone made but right crystal chandeliers lined the top of the ceiling. It was bright in the rook but along the walls gold plated lines the centre, making it almost shiny and reflected upon the marble floor. Dozens of dead continued to rush at the group. Haakon grabbed one of them by the skull, and crushed it under his hand. Meanwhile Scarlett entered the room, cutting down one of the dead as it rushed at her.
