Maryland has decided to ban the modification of diesel vehicles to enable them to emit large amounts of black smoke on to others. I'm okay with this because coal rolling is just awful. I hope other states follow suit.

I look at the diesel guys who do this to be in the same vein as the aluminum wing and decal "tuners". It's not my kind of automobile. [off subject, but I fee like sharing] Funny thing, last weekend was the annual car show at our local exotic & custom car dealership. They have literally just about everything you'd ever want in a Euro super or exotic, as well as GT-Rs, and even a couple guys who modded their Chevy SS's to be Holdens. Why? I have no idea. Anyhow, there's a Hyuara and a Koenigsegg Agera R in the showroom (as well as many other notables), but outside were around 300 of everything else. (There was a Lambo Aventador driving down the main street in front revving. He hit the rev limiter in about half a second, and it sounded like an older version F1 car. It was awesome.) Anyhow, all the tuners that showed up were all set off into the back. They had little to no spectator traffic, and they were all glammed out with tacky and nonsensical crap. To each his own, but I'll never understand pouring that kind of $$ into an Eclipse or Golf. Where were we. Oh yeah - diesel idiots. They weren't there.
