"Not to ruin your day, Jarl - but we have a Coldbourne to kill. Asshole who started this mess in the first place." Arianna crossed her arms, notifying the man of Felix's existence and involvement with the zombies.

"Ya, I figured that out when he raided my damned island!" Haakon told her. "The bastard came up on us with a hail marry. "Surrender or be turned!" He told everyone. Godamm it was a fine mess. I was on the coast and tried to hold the bastards off, but no dice! They kept coming like ants from their hill! So, with my entire guard detail dead, I made my way around the island to the hidden cove. But on they way there, I found this Lass!" Haakon declared as he slapped Scarlett on the back. She gave him a glare before she turned to Isaac and Ari. "Yes...my hero." She said sarcastically. "Once Haakon and I recovered we planned to get into the castle using the passages so we could take down Felix."
-
"So this is the hidden cove, I presume?" Arianna mentioned, staring up at the walls of the area that the four were encased within. "And you mentioned that the passages that you were taking could lead to the castle.. how far away are they? We should likely get moving soon, really.."
-
"Well, they start right there!" Haakon bellowed as he pointed to the passage filled with corpses. "We were getting outta here, but now that you kids are here, we can clear that castle like I clear dinner on thanksgiving! Ha!" "Or, we leave now and save ourselves." Scarlett said. She looked at Ari, then to Isaac. "Clearly not all of us are fit for duty. And even then, we are outnumbered a hundred to one! We have to fight a small army through the castle just so that we can make it to the throne room!"
-
"So?" Arianna looked over at Scarlett, crossing her arms. "Every moment that we waste, this is getting worse and worse. If we run now, Felix will consume these mountains - he'll head to the mainland and corrupt everything there. We need to end his plague, here and now."
-
"Aye! I agree with the girl!" Haakon obviously agreed to. "Let's go kick some ass, rather then talking about doing it!" Scarlett shook her head before she looked to the group. "Okay, fine. Let's do this. But we have to be careful, otherwise we're screwed."
-
"Lead the way, Jarl." Arianna nodded towards the burly man, pistol drawn as she then nodded towards Isaac. They had to get moving, and fast.
-
"You don't have to ask me twice!" The jarl said as he cocked the side of his massive light machine gun. It appeared to have blood covering the end of its white barrel. Scarlett flipped her sword in her hand, and Isaac noticed that there was a gun attached to the hilt and the barrel made its way up the side of the blade. The Jarl immediately barged down the hallway loudly, and the group followed behind his lead. They walked for some time, making a few turns and walking over the corpses of the dead. Then, they got to a think hallway where there was a door at the end. It was pushed open, which showed the light within the next room. "Ha! There it is! The grand ballroom!" He exclaimed. "We gotta make our way through there and get to the throne room! Which is at the middle of the castle! Right now we're five stories down in the mountain!" "We got a plan, or are we slaughtering everything in sight?" Arianna questioned, her sword drawn as energy pumped through her body intensely. Isaac began to concentrate, knowing that he could use his blood manipulation for some rather gruesome kills.
-
"What do you think?!" The Jarl asked with a huge smile. "We get through the ballroom, and make our way to the throne room." Scarlett said. "Then, we put Felix Coldbourne's head on a fucking pike! HYAAAA!" Haakon yelled as he sprinted into the ballroom, immediately open firing.
-
Arianna didn't bother, as her Aura kicked in: taking position beside the Jarl, she began swinging her blade rapidly, waves of compacted energy tearing through undead. Those that came close suddenly exploded in a mess of gore, or were impaled by spikes of blood that protruded from their bodies, or were shredded from the inside: Isaac was gruesomely slaughtering them with their own life source.
-
Dozens of the dead continued to rush at the group. The ballroom was massive in its size. It was stone made but right crystal chandeliers lined the top of the ceiling. It was bright in the rook but along the walls gold plated lines the centre, making it almost shiny and reflected upon the marble floor. Dozens of dead continued to rush at the group. Haakon grabbed one of them by the skull, and crushed it under his hand. Meanwhile Scarlett entered the room, cutting down one of the dead as it rushed at her.
-
Once the undead had drawn closer, Arianna had let out something of a battlecry, charging into the mix and slashing through the undead like a tornado of steel and blood. With each undead torn in half, their blood splattered across the others, solidifying and slicing through the dead armada and intentionally avoiding the living.
-
As Ari went further into the ballroom, the group following the carnage, the undead jumped down from the balconies that surrounded the room now, another two dozen. They rushed at Ari, leaping at her. Then, three rushed towards Isaac.
-
At that moment, Arianna had merely became a tornado - while she would have advised against it in any other situation, there wasn't exactly a plan to her movements, as she spun into the chaos and began slashing with literally inhuman speed. Each kill increased her adrenaline rush and speed, as if she was literally fueled by death. Isaac concentrated upon the splattered blood upon the ground, as he manipulated a wave of the dark red liquid to slam into the three: upon the wave, solidified spikes formed, rushing into both the undead that would have attacked him and a few others. It was a gory mess, to be honest.
-
Scarlett cut down the dead that ran towards her with precise strikes. She would impale the dead through their craniums, then her pistol blade would blast them off of it. Meanwhile, Haakon lit up anyone who Ari hadn't contacted yet, bellowing in laughter as he did so. Then, in a few more moments, all the dead were turned to crimson paint that lined the walls and floors. "I've been looking into getting this place a new paint job!" Haakon declared as he reloaded his machine gun.
-
For a moment, Arianna looked like she would vomit from the gore that encased her being and her sudden exhaustion, but she sighed, rising up after a moment. "...We should get to this bаstard," Isaac pointed out, emotionless and cold. It was as if he accepted his fate, although he was still fighting.
-
"Good god you too! Have a little more spunk would you? I'm the old one here! Ha!" Haakon announced as he walked across the ballroom. But, Scarlett seemed to notice Isaac. She gave him a look, her eyebrows furrowed and her eyes stared at him like dagger. "Isaac....what's going on...?" She asked skeptically.
-
"I'd have spunk if.. forget it." Isaac sighed, walking next to Scarlett and breathing in. Arianna attempted to take Haakon's attention, by walking by him and attempting conversation. "So.. ready to kick this git's ass?" She smiled wildly, still covered in gore and darkened blood. "Scar, I.. I'm dying, at the end of this. Scratched on the last island, contracted the infection.. I already told Ari to kill me if anything goes wrong, alright? And if.. if she's not there, then I hope you will be." Isaac muttered, shaking his head as he looked back at the scar upon his beaten, bloodied arm.
-
Tywin bellowed at Ari's remark as Scarlett raised her hand to her bottom lip. "Uh...ya, Isaac. Of course. But...what do it think you are turning into? One of them?" She asked as she gestured to the dead bodies. "They...aren't zombies. You know that right?"
-
"...I looked at my blood cells - well, not looked, it's complicated.. they were just being eaten away. All I've seen of zombies is an infection of the brain.. what about these people? If not zombies.. what have they become?"
-
"Isaac. Look closer at their teeth." She said as she knelt down by one of the corpses. She lifted its head, which allowed Isaac to see the regularly sized massive sharp teeth. "Isaac, these aren't zombies. They're vampires. Diminished, hungry, hive mind like vampires. The only thing that's driving them crazy is their thirst for blood. They don't eat organs, they try to get into the bloodstream. I'm guessing what you are seeing with your cells is just...the infection that's causing that thirst."
-
"...Aren't I just the perfect host for this: a blood manipulator. This is bad.." Isaac trembled a little, shaking his head. "Felix would likely know a cure. He wouldn't tell us, or he'd trick or deceit us. We need to move, before.. Y'know."
-
"Ya...ya I getcha. We'll figure this out kid." "HEY. LETS MOVE!" Haakon yelled at the two. He immediately took off towards the massive set of double doors that took through place on the east side of the room and he pulled them open.
-
Isaac merely nodded, as he carried onwards towards Ragnarok's Jarl, Arianna next to him. It was about time to end this fight.
-
"Alright!" Haakon started. "We make our way up the stairs, and that'll lead us to the throne room! Then, we kill Felix! HAHA!" He cried as he sprinted onwards into the massive room. As Ari and Isaac looked up they saw the massive staircase that went around the long square walls. The stair case went flat every now and then to allow access to branching off rooms but otherwise it followed the wall. There was a gap between the stairs, so the two could see the ceiling of the castle far above them.
