The Islamic Republic of Iran is modeled on Plato's work Politeia, and is in fact the ideal form of government.
Seriously, you can transplant the model into almost any fairly religious society and it will probably work out great.
That's not to say it's perfect, but it is a pretty awesome political structure that is allowing Iran to slowly crawl back into relevance even in the face of economic pressure from all of the imperialist powers, Israeli espionage/sabotage, and constant sociopolitical and ideological pressure from her Sunni neighbors.

Edited by Spartan 22O: 6/9/2017 10:24:26 PMThere's no way to remove the leaders from power though. how can you hold leaders accountable? it's a totally ridiculous government. it's dictated by radical clerics and those ayatollah asshole. how do iranians change this leadership if they decide they don't like it anymore? there would have to be a revolution to oust them just like what happened in 1979. it's a terrible form of government. non-secular, regressive form of government. a theocracy. on top of it all, they fund terrorists to advance their terrorist islamist agenda.
Theres not way OP can be serious is there?
