Trying to Forget, And it is Failing
Bar of Blades, 19:06
Mark-54 sat at the bar. He wrote in his yellow spiral notebook.
He had the pen in his right hand, and a shot glass full of whiskey.
He drank the whiskey and requested it to be filled again. He did this continuously as he wrote.
So far, it read:
Dear Sarah,
I hope you're happy. And that Finn knows how lucky he is.
Havoc told me. Which is why I'm drinking as I write this.
You don't know how much I love you. You don't know how broken am I to hear that your heart will forever belong to another. And not me.
The Exo sighed. He probably will never forgive himself.

*As he sighs a woman who seems to be in her early 30s sits next to the exo, calling for a beer from the Bartender. She sips on it a little, then looks over at him* You okay there bud? You look like you just witnessed someone dying.
-
Mark sighed, "I'm used to witnessing death." The Hunter pulled up the hood of his cloak, requesting another shot of whiskey.
-
Well, this is the Dojo, we all have. But, I mean you look like someone close died. You okay?
-
"She didn't die... She just..." Mark struggled to find the words as he drank another shot. If he was human, he would be crying. But, alas, he was an Exo-- a robot with a human consciousness, memories, and emotions. He closed his spiral notebook. "She just.... will never be mine..." he finished.
-
Oh, one of those things. The old heartbreak, had too many of them
-
Edited by Splashback77: 7/3/2017 6:52:19 PM"It's the worst. Except when they never knew you loved them," Mark agreed. He requested another shot, and drank it.
-
I still get that. Many men have felt that way about me. But, hey, this gives you a reason to keep fighting. So she can see your worth.
-
"That's the problem. I never have the chance. And when I do, I chicken out..." he admitted. He drank more shots.
-
Yes, but you still have a chance
-
"I don't," he slammed his metal face on the bar, "She's engaged to someone else."
-
Oh... That changes it a little. Well I know how it feels to be friends with an engaged fella. My brother's been engaged a while
-
"My point is... it's too late. And she's a really good friend of mine," Mark sighed. He asked for another drink and drank it down.
-
Well, if she's a good friend, why don't you be open?
-
Mark sighed, "It isn't easy...." He drank another shot.
-
It never is, but you'll feel better.
Trust me I know from experience
-
The Exo requested for three flasks, drinking each one. "You sure?"
-
Yes. At the very least, she'll be flattered that such a good friend loves her so much
-
Mark requested for another flask, and drank it. "Yeah... But again, she is engaged to someone else..."
-
*She grabs his flask out of his hand before he can drink it* So? Would you rather have it eat you up inside, not having her know, or letting her know and see what happens
-
Mark's systems shut down, due to the amount of alcohol consumed. His orange eyes powered off.
-
*She sighs, taking the Exo and dragging it behind her*
-
The Hunter's Ghost, Havoc, appeared, "Did he consume too much alcohol?"
-
Edited by BrandRobKus: 6/14/2017 11:09:34 AMProbably had more shots than shots fired at him, I presume. You're his ghost correct?
-
"Correct. I am his ghost," Havoc answered, "And no. He did not have that many shots."
-
Yeah, but I try to keep the mood light, little one. You got anything that can make this guy any lighter for me?
