"We can decide on names later big guy, but for now..." Cylus follows Marker's instruction, simply placing his palm on top of the Titan's.
-
Marker's vision suddenly changed, and he found himself standing in a factory, his arms and legs detached. Wait.... This wasn't him. It must have been TF's past.
-
Cylus focuses on his surroundings, looking around the factory that he seemed to be in. Realizing that this must have been part of the link, he concluded that he was in TF's memories. Unsure of what to do, he simply let it play out.
-
Surprisingly, that was all he saw as He quickly came to the real world. TF looked down at the ground, almost in sadness
-
Cylus is taken back by the rush of his senses. He turned to Marker, still touching TF's palm "If I saw his memories... Did he see mine?" he asks
-
"Yes, I did, Pilot Cylus." TF spoke first, looking up at Cylus "So much death. So much sadness..."

Edited by BondyMilk: 6/13/2017 1:15:25 PMCylus looks up at TF in surprise. "Indeed, and no man should ever have to go through what I have..." he said. "That's why I do what I do."
-
"No man? Bit late to the party mate, people have been through it. People will go through it. No matter what we try." Marker looked down at the ground, a morbid tone in his voice
-
"Well, it's always worth the shot. It always starts with one person, you know." Cylus comments.
-
"Anyways. Moving on. You can jump for the Titan, get in the cockpit."
-
Taking a few steps back, Cylus copied Marker's actions from before. Running at the titan, he leaped into the air and was caught in TF's hands. As he was lifted towards the cockpit, he looked at Marker in excitement.
-
Marker gave a quick thumbs up as the cockpit closed, enveloping Cylus in darkness. A screen flickered, and soon came to life, showing the outside world through the eyes of TF. The HUD was magnificent, with a health bar indicating how much damage TF would be able to take, and a few other items Cylus didn't recognize. "Now, you'll see some things you won't understand. One of them is your core charge, in the bottom left. Shows how much damage you need to do before you can go full Samurai on the enemy." "Ability cool downs are right beside it, you got your shielding and a shockwave you can send across the ground." "Now, try walking around."
-
Cylus, excited by the idea, decided to try out the neural link. He simply implemented himself into the image of TF's perspective, and imagined taking a step forward.
-
Nothing happened. "Don't think about it, just do it. Use your body, to make TF move with you."
-
"Ah." Cylus said, doing as Marker instructed. He simply decided to think of the Titan as a large extension of his own body, and began walking in place.
-
The Titan took a step forward, and than another step. Sure enough, the neural link was working
-
Cylus' mentality seemed to be working. He simply moved as he would if he weren't in the Titan, and in response, TF moved with him. Turning to marker, he waved the large robotic hand. "I'm doing it!" he shouted
-
"Hell yeah, you are!!" Marker screamed, waving back at Cylus "The difficulty is crouching, using weapons and your abilities. See if you can figure them out."
-
Cylus attempted to crouch, bringing his knees up to his chest and pretending to hide behind cover.
-
The Titan succeeded in crouching down, and Marker clapped "Up!"
-
Cylus stood up in response. "Can I jump in this thing?" he asked
-
"No, unfortunately it's one of the few limitations of the Titans. They're unable to jump."
-
"Ah, very well. Moving on." Cylus commented. Next up, weapons. Imagining that TF's weapons were his own, he reached onto his back and drew an ecrisma stick, his counterpart drawing a sword. Cylus decided to pretend the stick was like the hilt of the sword, that way his movements would be more accurate. Doing a simple twirl, he tested to see if TF did the same.
-
TF drew his large sword, and spun the way Cylus did, though he dropped the sword to the ground The hilt of the sword was crushed in the Titan's hand... "Gotta work on that grip..."
-
"Ah no. That isn't good." Cylus says, kneeling to pick up the sword. This time, he held the ecrisma stick as if it were made of glass, firm enough to hold but not enough to crush. TF was much stronger than him, so he would have to get used to it. Holding the stick, he attempted another twirl, this time not squeezing the grip when he caught it.
