Read this,if you care about this game.
At this moment,when i play destiny, i always get frustrated. That's why:
Playing with my longbow, pick a kill, switch to primary, getting destroyed by a wormwood, respawn, no special ammo,trying to get some ammo for my sniper, getting destroyed AGAIN by a wormwood. Ok that's not too much fun. I loved play with sniper and TLW,before this patch, and i'm not the only one with these problem. Some people really hate TLW and snipers, but some people love this meta."My freedom ends when your freedom starts". After this i wanna say one last thing: i love destiny and i buy this because i wanna have some fun ok? If you wanna play with sticky or wormwood you can but if you say that i can't play with a weapon and you say to bungie "nerf this gun" so nobody can play with it, you are an horrible person. I buy this game for playing with a gun that i wish use,not for playing a gun that you wish. Please @Bungie put again special ammo i don't wanna play anymore with an icebreaker. Sorry for my bad english i'm italian. If you are agree put a comment. Bye.

2 RepliesJust thought I'd let you know that sidearms can't cross map you so if you play less like a dual wielding machine gun god and you sit and play more defensively, you can kill them with ease with any scout, pulse, and some hand cannons! Well isn't that neat. I don't even use sidearms and I don't see them as a problem. This post is just the result of someone who died to sidearms once too many times and all of a sudden is an activist of "making the game fun again". And if you really care about this game you would support it even if the state of the game isn't your favorite at the moment.

2 RepliesSince year 1 I've been a bladedancer with TLW and longbow. Blade dancer is now obsolete, no blink. TLW is the worst weapon in the game now, and there's no sniper ammo.

2 RepliesD1 pvp was destroyed by the community. I see it happening again in D2 as well. Looking at the new subclasses I can already see the posts complaining for nerfs. Actually there are already posts demanding nerfs to arcstrider and, they haven't even played the game yet haha. That's how sad it is.

I've been pairing a sniper with The Last Word a of late. Of course, I rarely (if ever) snipe. It's only been within the last month or so playing Destiny that I switched to sniper rifles since in matchmaking, teammates rarely (if ever) help me on kills (particularly when I'm using close-range weapons on an opponent that's picking me off from a distant spot). I've actually had some of the best games in using The Last Word lately. One match I remember putting on The Last Word. My Titan held off a popular avenue for enemies pretty much alone using that weapon. During the match's entirety I had gotten my super four times... and it wasn't even a Mayhem-enabled game.

12 RepliesIf you dont like icebraker try with the closest pussy combo to TLW and sniper sniper use a No Land Beyond + Sidearm ( wormwood, old one of IB or even havoc p.) you're going to feel like on home.

3 RepliesI totally understand. You should be able to play the way you want to play. It's unfortunate that Bungie decided to go the competitive route with PvP. That forced a lot of nerfs into the game.

3 RepliesThey wanted us to use primaries more. But all those shotgun runners got us screwed over. And it's not like one shotgun was reduced, it was ALL of them. Even in times of need. I really enjoyed this game until PvP players whined about every little thing, which impacted PvE even more so.

The irony of the update is I became more efficient with snipers than before the patch have many a recording of taking three people out in a row with sniper it's a case of knowing where to stand and where not to run in sight of

I care about the pve aspect more than the pvp side. There's better pvp games out there. Crucible is a nice bonus though. If pve is what they promised, i will most likely not step foot into the crucible. - you're welcome.

1 ReplyI am having a blast!! In using a fusion most of the time. I use a primary and use the secondary as a back up if I'm getting rushed by a sidearm or shotgun. It's all about adapting to the new flow of the game.

2 Repliesthis meta wasnt created because players wanted to use wormwood, thats just a biproduct. it came to pass cuz nubs like you filled the game with shotty-snipers. shotty-snipers is fun every now and then, but primaries have to get a chance, and were not all max aim-assist mlg snipers. your proposed solution is exactly the same as your grievance.

1 Replyyeah i usually defend bungie on their decisions but even I agree that the special ammo nerf is stupid. I mean D2 will be out in 3 months, let us enjoy D1 for how it use to be for the last 3 months, once D2 comes out we wont have special like this anyways so let us just enjoy it for the final months.
