"Ah, very well. Moving on." Cylus commented. Next up, weapons. Imagining that TF's weapons were his own, he reached onto his back and drew an ecrisma stick, his counterpart drawing a sword. Cylus decided to pretend the stick was like the hilt of the sword, that way his movements would be more accurate. Doing a simple twirl, he tested to see if TF did the same.
-
TF drew his large sword, and spun the way Cylus did, though he dropped the sword to the ground The hilt of the sword was crushed in the Titan's hand... "Gotta work on that grip..."
-
"Ah no. That isn't good." Cylus says, kneeling to pick up the sword. This time, he held the ecrisma stick as if it were made of glass, firm enough to hold but not enough to crush. TF was much stronger than him, so he would have to get used to it. Holding the stick, he attempted another twirl, this time not squeezing the grip when he caught it.
-
Considering the missing hilt, the sword slipped from the Titan's grasp and flew over Marker's head, stabbing into a tree and lodging itself inside "WOAH! WOAH! Watch the flying swords, Cylus!"
-
oops
Cylus steps back in surprise as the sword flies through the air and embeds itself in the tree. He looks around at the passing grunts, making sure everyone was alright. "Oops, I should probably be more careful with that."
-
Oops is right...
"We'll get you a new sword, just be careful, alright
-
"Got it. Shall I try the shotgun?" Cylus asks
-
"You can try, just be careful alright?" Marker said, clearing some of the grunts that had gathered
-
"Of course." Cylus said. Reaching for his back, he put the ecrisma stick away and reached for an imaginary weapon. In response, TF reached for his own, drawing the large shotgun. This time, Cylus was careful not to crush anything. "So, how does this thing work?" he asks.
-
"Point away from us. Preferably towards the air, and pull the trigger."
-
"Of course." Cylus says. Aiming his imaginary weapon, Cylus points up to the tree tops and pulls the trigger. The shotgun immediately fired and recoil jolted TF, but Cylus braced against it. "Really packs a punch!" he shouted.
-
"You'll get used to it." Marker said, looking up at the gun "Let's get take a break before we do anything else, we don't want to push anything."
-
"Sure, but how do I get out?" Cylus asks
-
"Just act as if you are jumping out of the cockpit, then it'll open and let you out."
-
"Gotcha" Cylus acted as told and sure enough, TF opened up to let him out. Landing with a thump, Cylus stood up face Marker. "Now that, ... That was awesome."
-
"Indeed, it was. Though, we don't want to stress your neural cells too much the first time around." "So I'll give you an option what to do next. I can introduce you to some of the men you'll be fighting alongside, or we can take the rest of the day off."
-Get some rest -Meet the others
-
"Well two birds one stone, I'll go ahead and meet the others. Where are they now?"
-
"Two of the four are here, the other two are at our outpost on world."
-
"Lead the way Colonel. By the way, I took you up on some of those archives." Cylus says with a light chuckle. "Also did a little of my own research if you don't mind"
-
"Oh? And what'd you find in your search? Anything I should know about?"
-
"Meh, just more about how the Militia came to be and about the war on the IMC. It's some tough shit."
-
"We've been through alot. Seen leaders fall like dominoes, new ones rise." Marker sighed, shaking his head "Anyways. Back to the point. They came here this week specifically to meet you, and prep up for an attack."
-
"Well, it'll be my pleasure to meet my comrades. Let's get to it."
-
"Before we do, I want to clear something up. They're not your squad. They're accompanying us on one mission, and depending on what they see. You might have a future with them."
-
"Ah, well then I'll make sure not to get too attached just yet." Cylus says. "But I'll do my best, of course. I'm finally back in the field, I don't want to screw this up."
