Light faded in, and Sakki found herself lying on the ground.
“Ok, your gonna want to brace for pain, because once that-” Sheet started to say something, but Sakki shouted in pain. She clutched her shoulder and chest.
“Why do I hurt so much?!” Sakki asked.
“When you're resurrected, you only have one HP, and since the last update for balancing reasons I suppose, that first 100 health takes 10 times longer to regenerate. You’re shields still heal though. Since you have 1 recovery, it’ll take 2 minutes to start healing, and then a little more than a minute to completely heal,” Sheet explained. He deployed his ghost at the terminal, and then retrieved it a moment later. He picked her up and began to walk. “Can you tell me what happened? We’re heading back to that social hub to turn in the quest.”
“Two guys wanted my Glimmer, although I have no idea what that is. I said no and they killed me.”
“Good decision, you only lost 500 instead of all of it. Get a name?”
“James.”
“Hm, based in his actions I’d say he’s a player, so James probably has nothing to do with his username. That will make it more difficult to find him.” A moment later, the pain dulled, and started to fade. She noticed that they were almost back to the social hub.
“Ha, carrying your girlfriend?” A voice was heard from above. Sheet looked up. He looked back down and kept walking. “You're gonna ignore me?” A gunshot was heard and Sheet stopped.
“I’m going to put you down, okay?” He said to Sakki.
“I’ve felt fine for a little bit now, so it’s okay,” She replied.
“I thought my level would ward off any other people,” Sheet said, turning.
“Ha, you're only level 10.” Sheet pointed at the book that hovered above his head, next to his damaged health bar. “Oh, the teacher system… Which means you’re at least 25 levels above her… Well I’m level 45, and you could be 29 and up. I’ll take my chances.”
“Alright, your funeral.” Sheet opened his menu and the 10 Sakki saw by his head was swapped with 3 question marks.
“Uh, 3 digits? How the hell are you above 100?”
“Leave us alone.”
“No seriously, even the people that non stop stream have only gotten to 88. Who are you? I’ll follow you around until you log off.”
“Fine, whatever. Sakki, let’s go.” Sakki got up and started walking towards the building with the social hub.
“Hey, wait up! My name is FlowingCarpet49 by the way! But you can call me Flow!” Flow ran after Sakki and Sheet.
