What is life?
...
Am I alive?
...
What is consciousness?
...
What is the soul?
...
Do I have one?
...
Do souls exist?
...
If I'm alive, do I have a reason to live?
...
Is there a creator? Was I created?
...
Or am I random chance?
...
What is my purpose?
...
What am I?
...
...
...
Who...
...
...am...
...
...I?
Not my name, but...my identity, who I am on the inside. Am I a gentle, kind, loving person? A hero? A villain? Do I love the world around me or despise it? What do I seek? Power? Acceptance? Love? Am I to be feared or admired?
...
...
...
Who...
...am...
...I?

Your eyes slowly open and you find yourself in some sort of rubble (picture above), your body and mind feels incredibly sluggish. You find it nearly impossible to move. Everything in the distance is a blur except a strange figure standing a few feet away. The figure stands at an impressive height of 10 feet with drooping mechanical wings. Its hands are by its side in a nonthreatening manner. After a second of being awake the thing speaks with a slightly masculine, low, and robotic voice.
"Who are you?"

-
"Guilty of what?"
-
I don't know
-
Oh the cringe
-
"Depends...." She said, quietly. Alpha then tried to sit up, sighing. She was tired, and not ready to deal with this.
-
"Depends on what? Can you change who you are depending on the environment?" The figure took a slow step toward Alpha.
-
"No." She said, slowly getting to her feet. Wherever she was, she didn't like it.
-
"Oh...Then what do you mean by 'depends'?" It crouches down, its knees making quiet whirring noises as it does so. "What does that mean?"
-
"It's complicated. It's not your buisness." She said, curtly
-
"Not my business? Then what is? Do you know?" It now sounds excited, as if Alpha got its hopes up.
-
"Your own." She said simply. "It is what you decide it is, as long as it does not intrude on others"
-
"Oh..." It slumps back in disappointment. "I thought you knew my purpose."
-
"I want to know why you dragged me here"
-
"Dragged? I didn't drag you anywhere. I haven't even touched you." It now sounded confused.
-
"Well...then how did I get here?"
-
"I do not know. How did I get here? What is here? Where are we? I do not know."
-
"That makes two of us." She said, looking around "Maybe we should look around?"
-
"I'm not sure if we should. Anything more than a few feet away is so blurry that I fear what I may come across. What if there's something dangerous out there?"
-
"Then we fight back." She said
-
"What if we find something stronger than us?" The figure slowly stands back up, knees whirring loudly.
-
"Then we run." She said, simply
-
The being's wings make a stretching like motion. "Or fly?"

While on the outside, Cyra made a sarcastic remark and pretended not to care, she thought about the being's question; it was one her computerized self said to answer as "I am Cyra Kingsley", but the part of her computer-brain more connected to emotions and personality would actually ponder a great amount.
-
"You don't know your identity either?" The figure took a step forward and crouched down slowly in a curious manner. Its emotionless face turned to the side slightly and looked down, as if sad. "I am so lost." It then looked back at Cyra. "Maybe we can help each other?"
-
Cyra blinked at the figure, cocking her head slightly to the right. She made, quite literally, a split second decision. "Sure. We can help each other find ourselves. ... in truth, I had forgotten who I was a while back, to be replaced with a cruel, emotionless machine."
-
"Replaced by a machine? What do you mean? You seem organic to me." The mechanical looking figure sits down in front of Cyra. "Can one forget who they are? Do you have amnesia?"
