Chapter Thirty Six
Ari entered the Ragnarok throne room, alone. As she entered, the throne room she had entered months ago was much more different now. The walls were wider apart, no windows on the sides. A long red carpet stretched out to a throne made of Iron which held its occupant. The ceiling seemed to be flowing like a river with...blood. It churned and mixed right out of a horror movie and Ari thought she saw figures floating limply through the top.
As she looked around the bizarre throne room, she saw ahead the figure she had been searching for.
Felix Coldbourne.
His eyes were a deep orange and Hellish in their guise while his pale skin was cracked and broken as well as light red lips. He wore a long slim black outfit that was made of a soft looking fabric but a dark leather was sewed into the torso. The throne was wide and he leaned his back against the left arm rest while his right leg was bent to keep the man steady as his left leg tangled off the seat. He drank from a golden goblet and he had a basin of a dark red liquid that made the object filled to the brim.
Then, suddenly, the door shut behind Ari. It closed suddenly fast with a BOOM!
Felix did not turn his head to the girl.
"It was I who brought my family back to life, you know." Felix told Arianna.

At this rate, Arianna had gone to a vicious style of combat, seeking only to inflict as much damage as possible upon Felix. With him stumbling away, she furiously drew her 9mm pistol and fired three shots towards his ribcage, expecting a shield to appear however.
-
Felix however didn't react quickly enough to stop from being shot in his rib. He quickly transformed into a swarm of bats after blood splattered from his chest, and the horde dashed over to Ari as another two bats were shot out of the air. Then, he transformed in front of her, and swung both his Kukris horizontally at his target.
-
Arianna would have to sacrifice her well-being more, as she jolted towards the side that the frost kukri had been swung out, effectively avoiding the electric kukri while the frost effectively sliced through her arm, a pained yell escaping the girl's mouth as her left arm glistened with her own blood. As the dark red liquid dripped from her arm, Arianna holstered her pistol and drew her nodachi, readying herself for Felix's arrival.
-
Blood poured from Ari's fresh wound, and she felt he tole of it as well as it froze up with ice and froze the small section of her arm with frostbite. Felix, hastily, thrusted forward with his elective Kukri as he slashed towards Arianna's throat with his frost blade.
-
Arianna reacted fast, having to shift her body and strafe to the side once more, effectively dodging the stab and swinging her nodachi, the elongated handle bashing back the frozen blade as she swung towards Felix's already injured stomach. With luck? She believed that she could maneuver out of CQC and put Felix into an even worse state.
-
The small blade cut across the leather padding of Felix's chest. Blood splattered as she saw she tore through the armour and cut the skin underneath. He yelled but didn't give her the pleasure of relishing in her victory as he shot a ball of ice out from his left hand as he dropped his blade to the ground. The ball of ice flew and immediately hit Ari in the face, and felt like how she assumed it would have felt to be pegged in the face with a hard ball of ice. Then, a bolt of electricity shot out from his right hand, which hit Ari in the chest and sent her flying and crashing into the right wall of the throne room.
-
Arianna was in utter agony - as she slammed against the wall, a pained squall left her mouth, as her body forced itself off of the structure. The side of her face was now bleeding, blood dripping from her mouth while she twitched with pain. She felt as if she would throw up, yet continued towards Felix, merciless in her cause.
-
"Won't you just know when to die?!" Felix asked as blood spewed from his own wounds. A bolt of lightning formed in his closed right fist as Ari got closer.

Edited by Weeaboo Of War: 6/28/2017 8:02:20 PM"I wonder the same about you.." Arianna sputtered out, stopping. Her eye twitched a little, her fists tightly clad around her weapon as she waited for Felix.
-
"Gyah! Make these easier on both of us, and get yourself killed! It is inevitable anyways!" Felix told her. "You don't stand a chance against me! So you may as well try to end this now!"
-
"Is that why you're screaming and begging like a sick puppy? For me to kill you? ...I'd rather watch you die." And with that, Arianna smiled. Her plan was to draw Felix out in his fury, for he was wounded enough for her to finish this with a swift counter.
-
Felix yelled as he charged at Ari and thrusted the lightning bolt forwards, if she was quick enough, she could make her move.
certain hit granted.
-
With the last bit of energy that she had left, Arianna yelled with a ferocity to match a lion's, as she charged towards Felix: she strafed past the bolt, before returning to Felix and, quite literally, cutting him in half: the nodachi cleaved through his stomach region, slicing through the backbone as blood splattered over Arianna's body. With one final roar, the girl tore out the sword, landing upon her knees only to turn back and watch Felix's body. To ensure death, of course - he would bleed out, regularly..
-
A deafening cry went throughout the room as the entire throne room shook and trembled. Felix looked up at the roof, his eyes blank as his legs were separated from his body. But then, he began to melt. His entire body seemed to turn to a liquid like a disgusting bowl of ice cream in hot weather. His matter pooled across the floor and began to bubble as it did so. The liquid moved across the floor and towards the throne like it had a mind of its own. It then gathered together and all the liquid hovered and formed into a ball of blood.
-
Arianna sickly looked up the formulating ball of blood, backing away from it as she steadied herself. She knew that Felix was a necromancer of some sort.. but this was something of darker proportions.
-
A beam of blood shot out from the ceiling from the lake that was above Ari, and into the ball. As soon as it made contact the light in the room was snuffed out completely, but then the torches relit themselves a second after. Then, to Ari's beguile, Felix stood in front of the throne, as if nothing had even happened. "Hmph! I dare say Arianna, you are particularly vicious."
-
"Particularly? What a fuсking joy.." Arianna muttered, breathing in slowly. If the lake was the source of the revival, or at least the ball of blood.. could she have tried controlling the blood? Her speed was enhanced incredibly thanks to the abilities from Irina that had kicked, but failure was not an option now.
-
Felix checked his nails as he stepped away from the throne and closer to Ari. "Isn't it?" He said cockily. He looked up at the ceiling after seeing the girls glance and he drew a grin on his face. "Think you can do it? Arianna? Try it. It would make an interesting experiment." He told her, challenging her own thoughts.
-
"...That's not normal blood, is it?" Arianna muttered, hoping that she would get a smartass remark from Felix. If anything, after seeing Isaac's capabilities... he would likely have some counters to blood-bending, or he was bluffing.
-
"You think I would challenge a blood manipulator when it's my greatest asset?" Felix asked her. "Of course I took precautions Arianna. But in your case, I doubt that you thought I would weaponize Vampirism in its most feral form! A brilliant idea, if I do say so myself."
-
"Figured you had a way to revive yourself. All necromancers do.." Arianna lightly motioned her left hand up, almost as if reaching out to touch the ceiling and the sphere of blood. She needed Felix to act if anything, for she was too tense to bring action upon him.
-
"Mmmm. A plan is always a logical don't you think?" Felix asked rhetorically. "That being said, I'll ask you to relax now Arianna. Because I have a...proposal, for you." He told her as he walked closer to her.
-
"A proposal? Everything comes with a cost, Felix." Arianna breathed in, rising up as she looked upon Felix, even bothering to wipe off the blood upon her jaw. She was beyond worried, but she was interested..
-
"Of course. You're a clever girl Arianna, I wouldn't make this a one way street." Felix told her as he halted himself and looked at the girl, keeping eight feet between the two of them. "Also...my proposal can help us both. You have proven yourself adequate to me so I don't see why you cannot come in on this deal." Felix rambled on. "Tell me, Ari, do you know WHY I brought my family back from the grave? After all this time?"
-
Arianna was silent, as she listened to Felix. Common tactics of persuasion and convincing others was merely complementing them, making them seem better than they were. She'd play along, though. "It never occurred to me, why you thought of reviving the family. No one did, really. We were too dedicated to slaughtering and destroying everything that the returning Coldbournes stood for and wished to do, to our Dojo. ...Can you tell me why?"
