One day after the fight between Marker And Cylus
One day previous to Cylus' relationship building with Alliance
4:30 A.M.
Marker called Cylus over a private comms channel as the Titan Pilot stopped in front of the recruit's armory.
He took the key from its hiding spot and allowed himself inside, closing the door behind him
"Cylus, don't tell me you're still asleep!" He said, looking around
Open for Cylus!
English
-
"Oh." Cylus says as they walked. "That's quite a lot."
-
"In aspects of size, there are numerous other militarys that can fit up to 800 people on simple Frigates such as this"
-
"Hrm. That's quite interesting" Cylus says, imagining the great vessel. "It's like a space helicarrier."
-
"Similar, yes." Marker said as the two entered a large mess hall. Rows and rows of tables and seats were throughout the room, with the smell of cooking coming from the back
-
"Cozy... For a giant military space station." Cylus says. He sits at the nearest table and removes the pad from his wrist, placing it down. After pressing a few buttons, a holographic screen pops up, showing his current level of Pac-Man. Using the pad as a digital joystick, he resumed playing.
-
"Enjoy." Marker said before leaving the mess. ----11 Minutes Later----- The ship lurched backwards, coming to a halt as it exited FTL the data pad slid across the cafeteria table, but stopped before it reached the edge. They'd arrived
-
"OooOpH." Cylus said awkwardly. The sound of Pac-Man getting eaten was heard, and he grunted. "Damn. I can never beat my high score!" he mumbles. Standing up, he exits the mess hall and retraces his steps to the room where they had first landed and seen the Reapers
-
He found his way to the hangar, and he saw four or five different dropships being loaded up, Marker was briefing a good 20 or so men.
-
Cylus made his way to the back of the crowd and listened quietly.
-
".... As a result of this we'll be having three different drop off points." "Squad A will be with Commander Gates, and they'll be dropped off at the landing pads that lead to the main doors of the outpost. If the doors don't open, blow your way in." "Squad B will be my squad, we'll be dropped off on the roof of the Outpost and we'll make our way in from there." "Squad C will be dropped off on the outskirts of the base, led By Sargeant Aidan." "Dismissed." The troops got up and scattered, going to their respective shuttles "Cylus, come here for a moment." Marker waved Cylus over, and looked at him "What squad would you like to take part in?"
-Join Squad A -Join Squad B -Join Squad C
-
"Your squad sounds like it works the way I do, operating from the inside out. If there's anyone there, we get first hit and flush them out." he says. "I'll go ahead and stick with you."
-
"Got ya. Before we go, I should introduce you to somebody. GATES!" Marker called, looking at one of the dropships. Turning around was a Titan Pilot and Marker quickly waved them over https://imgur.com/EITIpax The pilot quickly came over, extending a hand to Cylus "Section Commander Gates of the 6-4." The pilot's voice was female, but the accent wasn't easily identifiable

Edited by BondyMilk: 6/21/2017 11:21:38 PM"Recruit Pilot Cylus of the Ninth Fleet, nice to meet you Commander Gates." Cylus says, shaking her hand.
-
"Nice to meet you as well." Cylus was able to piece together a small bit of her accent, maybe some French? "See you on the ground, Gates." "Indeed you will, Lieutenant Colonel Marker." Maybe Spanish? "How many times do I have to say? No need for formalities." "But it is the proper thing to say, sir." It had to be one of the European states. "Peu importe, mademoiselle." Marker said with a laughed, sending her off "Let's get this started." Marker boarded one of the dropships, motioning for Cylus to follow
-
Cylus walked up the ramp, and stood beside Marker on the ship. "Since when do you speak French?" He asks.
-
"Since I met Gates." Marker said. "She's fluent in six or seven languages. French, Spanish, Italian, Russian, English, and I think Polish." The dropship ramped closed, and around Cylus and Marker were two grunts and another pilot.
-
"Impressive." Cylus says. "You learned it for her, eh?" he asks, nudging Marker with his elbow?
-
"No, she taught me. Says it's important to remember your roots." Marker said as the dropship launched off from the ship's hangar "By the way. This is Victor, Charlie, and Brian." Marker said, gesturing to the grunts respectively
-
"So you're French?" Cylus asks Marker as he nods to each person respectively. "I'm Cylus, I'll be accompanying you folks today."
-
"My father was, yeah." Marker said with a nod
-
"That's pretty cool." Cylus comments
-
"Or well at least, my father's Blood line was. Anyways, that's not really the point." T-minus 2 minutes
-
"Ah, well we can talk later. Looks like we're almost here." Cylus says, his hands resting on his belt.
-
"Are those suppressors on your guns?" He asked, the grunts nodding
-
"Ah, no time like the present." He says. He pulls out one of his Mk23 pistols and screws on the suppressor, then does the same with the other. He primes both, turning one upside down and to the right, the other right side up and to the left, and then sliding them against each other.
