Pull The Distant Star
So I recently pulled the mida multi tool, but I just got a new exotic heavy and I would like to use that exotic slot. I missed the iron banner a week ago so I could not pick up the Distant star. The only other way I know of to get one is from the crucible. Is there any way of increasing my chance to get one or is it all rng?

I have Angel, mida and distant star. IMO distant star with explosive rounds rocks better.

Try Crucible scout bounty, but make sure you have every Crucible related scout you possibly can in your inventory. It might smartloot you a Distant Star.

At the moment, the Crucible scout bounty would be your [b]only[/b] chance. And yea, it's all rng. Bummer you missed out on the last IB. The vendor roll was perfect. Truthfully though, it's no replacement for MIDA. MIDA spoils us with its awesome sights and crazy high aim assist. The Distant Star may [i]feel[/i] like MIDA but Angel's Advocate seems to outperform it.

4 RepliesScout rifle bounty from crucible quartermaster when available. Or just get angels advocate from the vanguard quartermaster. Better than both MIDA and distant star with a good roll.

I pulled an Exile's Student from the Handcannon bounty, I'm positive Iron Banner weapons are in the loot table as well.
