Sounds awesome. The only thing that I could see as a problem is that people might confuse supers with other supers at a glance if they can be different colors

Supers and Abilities tend to be pretty unique to each other when it comes to sounds and special effects. Combine that with the Crucible's new scoreboard that shows what everyone's subclass is and you'll have people adjusting to it quickly. A bonus idea would be that your subclass's symbol would also change color depending on what color you got equipped for that subclass. That way in the Crucible, other players can tell that your subclass is a different color. : )
