Looking to Marker, Cylus nodded.
"Once you unlock it, I'll breach. If they're in there, I can take them out before any of them can blink."

Marker placed his hand against the pad, and the hissing of the door was heard. "3, 2, 1, breach." The door unlocked from the wall
-
Cylus pushed the door open, gun scanning for targets
-
"THUNDER!" A female voice said from inside the armoury, and Cylus spotted the figure towards the back

Edited by BondyMilk: 6/23/2017 2:48:15 AMCylus raised his gun in the air. Unsure if it was another one of the pirates, he whispered into the comm. "Stay back." Waiting for the woman to act, he approached as he holstered his pistol. One hand at his belt, he approached her with an outstretched arm. "Ma'am, are you okay? Can you tell me your name?"
-
She pointed a hand gun at him, her hands shaking "Thunder!! Thunder!" She took a step back, slumping downwards to the ground "Flash!" Marker said, stepping past Cylus and kneeling down besides the woman. "Ma-marker?" The woman said, looking up at him through teary eyes "You're safe, Sheila. You're safe." Marker said, bringing the woman into a hug "Can you tell me where Sargeant Thompson is?" He asked, gently rubbing her back. "He... He told me he was going to the c-cafeteria. Most defendable he said."
-
just realized I forgot to say that, I was about to edit it when you replied
"Shit my bad. You know this woman Marker?" he asks, taking a step back.
-
Edited by Royal Blade: 6/23/2017 2:55:47 AM
Lol.
"Sargeant Thompson was a member of my Battalion for a while. I gave him the rank of Sargeant and gave him a position at this outpost. So he introduced me to the squad he was put in charge of." "I'm one of those people..." The woman said with a sad chuckle, looking at the ground. "They're all dead now..."
-
"I'm- I'm sorry for your loss ma'am. But right now it sounds like we need to find this Sargeant Thompson. Can you tell us anything about what we're up against? Weapons, numbers, anything would help." Cylus asks gently
-
"They came in so angry... They knew where to go, how to go. There was at least 25 of them. But... But our weapons did nothing. Bullets ricocheted off their armour..."
-
Edited by BondyMilk: 6/23/2017 3:33:54 AMCylus looked at Marker. "Do you know anything about this?"
-
"Not much." Marker said solemnly "I do." Victor piped up from behind Cylus, and started his tale. "My father was one of the survivors that was able to escape from The Helldivers." "He spoke of Cyborgs that were made of indestructible metal. Vibranium, mixed with something else." "He spoke of EMP charges that he had used to take down two of the bastards..."
-
"Vibranium... Where have I heard that before?" Cylus says, tapping his foot. He suddenly looks up, as he had come to a conclusion. "My god, if these guys are made of Vibranium, they're going to be some tough sons of bitches." he says. "Back on my earth, there was this one guy... Had a shield that was made of the stuff. He carried it everywhere. The only thing strong enough to even put a dent in that stuff is itself." Cylus comments. "I only have one EMP on me," he says, revealing a strap of grenades inside his jacket. "But if we can get a hold of one of these guys, I'll see what I can do."
-
"If they're made of the metal, you think their bullets are as well? Could explain how they're tearing through everything so easily." Charlie brought up, glancing at Cylus
-
"That would explain the slashes and bullet wounds we saw earlier. They were all clean and seemed to be one swift motion." he comments. "Good thinking Charlie." Cylus turns and looks at the group as a whole. "If we can use this EMP efficiently and get at least one of them, we can take their weapons and use them against themselves. Sound good?" he asks
-
"Cylus." Marker turned, looking at his friend "You realize we're in the armour, right?" Marker asked, looking around. A large portion of the equipment was Missing, due to the initial raid, but there was still large amounts of grenades, guns and ammunition around.
-
"Oh." Cylus said a bit awkwardly. "Well then by all means, let's stock ourselves up." he says with a chuckle.
-
"Remind me to get you some of our rechargeable grenades when we get back to the Dojo." Marker said as he left the armoury, allowing the others to stock up
-
Cylus grabbed a couple EMPs and a particularly large knife before following Marker out. "Will do." he says, sheathing the blade on his back. "From my experience, if they're Cyborgs, they're most likely to keep their most vital human parts. Usually around their brains and chests. Even if not and they're Exos, it should be the same case."
-
"Oh, also. Our knives have a data setting. So if you find an access port, you can stab the robot in the port and press the knife. The knife will hack it's systems and turn it to our side." Marker stated, looking back at Sheila "Stay here. We'll come back for you." As Charlie and Victor exited, Marker raised his rifle and started moving forward
-
"I'm just more and more amazed with everything you show me." Cylus says to Marker. He twirls his pistol as he pulls it out, reloads it, and walks down the hall on Marker's que.
*If you can get up close to one of them, I'll scan to find the port.* Q says
"Thanks, I'll try my best." Cylus responds
-
"Our technology is pretty interesting. I like where it's at. The Alliance tech we're integrating with our own will make us even more powerful as well." Marker said matter-of-factly He walked down the hallway, the others following "Anyways. Mission Directive is to get to cafeteria? Yeah. That's where we need to go. Thompson's down there."
-
"Sounds good. Remind me about it when we get back." Cylus says. As they walk down the halls, he turns and checks each doorway, acting as their sentry.
-
They came to a halt at the elevators, and Marker pushed opened a nearby doorway that led into the stairwell. "Who wants to take point?"
-
"I've got it. Q, start scanning." Cylus says, heading to the front. Popping out his metal arm fins, he drew the knife from the armory and once again held it below his pistol. Standing in the doorway, he crouched before looking at Marker. "Going up or going down?"
-
"Down. Cafeteria is in the basement." Marker said, pointing downwards
