Q: Can players use the Account and Character Migration process to move their account from one platform to another?
A: No. To be able to access their migrated data, players must use the same PSN ID or Xbox Gamertag credentials to login to Destiny 2.
Q: Can players access their Destiny 2 Emblems for Destiny accomplishments on a different console platform or on the PC platform?
A: No. The Destiny 2 Emblems are tied to a player's PSN ID or Xbox Gamertag and cannot be accessed on other platforms.
Can't help but be disappointed that you'll have to say bye-bye to your existing Guardians if you're deciding to jump ship to PC and that you won't get to reap any of the rewards for being an existing Destiny player. Has this impacted any of your decisions in regards to what platform you'll be Destiny 2-ing on for the next few years? Or, for shame, have Activision had their wily ways with you and through the release date disparity and news that you'll be lacking veteran rewards (assuming you intended to be PC-only), pushed you into double dipping your purchase?
I won't be rushing out (well, emailing Blizzard) to cancel my order, so I can't say I'm too hung up, but I guess I'm mostly salty because after having transferred my GTA V character from PS3 to PC and being able to share Overwatch skins between linked platform accounts, I figured we'd at least get to keep our familiar faced Guardians, though I never had delusions about cross-platform multiplayer or consistent saves, items carrying over etc., I'm talking purely a one time transfer ala, again, GTA V.

I plan on playing mostly on PC and this doesn't bother me in the least. I don't get emotionally attached to virtual "stuff" in video games...
