"... good question."
She seemed to now want to direct the conversation elsewhere.
"What about you?"
English
-
"What about me?" He cocked his head. "Or could you already tell I'm a weirdo?"
-
"Isn't everybody a weirdo in some way, around here?" She snorts, only half joking.
-
He doubled over and laughed. "Yep, that about sums up the planet!"
-
She waited for him to finish his laughing, before continuing. "I believe that you're avoiding the question."
-
"I'm technically a biological robot, programmed and built by some oddball alien a very long time ago." He shrugged.
-
"Ah, I see." It seemed as though social interaction wasn't one of Cyra's strengths; she lapsed into silence.
-
"So if you're a computer... Does that mean you've had all your emotions and such programmed into you? Love, joy, sadness, etc.?" He asked, cocking his head.
-
"Yes, actually... the latter two were programmed many years ago, while the former was only programmed in very recently. I still see no reason for it, however. Anyhow, is it the same for a biological robot?"
-
"Yes, sort of. I was programmed with emotions and ideologies a long time ago, used to think most of them were useless, but they're entertaining." He smiled again.
-
"Entertainment seems useless in itself." Her own facial expression remained passive.
-
"But it is enjoyable, no? Entertainment also allows for increased morale." He pointed out, smiling wider.
-
He doubled over laughing. "True! Very true!" He stood back up. "Wouldn't you prefer a moving target for better practice?"
