"At least I got my amazing daughter from that marriage....Traci...."
Iso smiled a little.
"You should meet her. She's like how I used to be."

Edited by A Stormy Dio: 7/2/2017 4:52:04 AMKara smiled. "I'd love to meet your daughter. And maybe some day, when you're free and when I could visit Keira... maybe I could introduce you to her husband. Or maybe show you around a few Rider worlds. Something like that, to get away from everything here at the Dojo." Kara says, as she let go of Iso.
Oh shit, WM has her, don't they?
-
Yup. Made that post a day ago.
"That sounds great, Kara. I could use a vacation from this place." Iso let go as well and simply smiled.
-
Damn.
"Yeah. Been nearly 8 months since I've seen Keira. Heard they were planning on visiting this dimension after something about a 6 month baby was dealt with..." Kara responded, pulling out the deck of cards, looking through each one. "You know, Keira originally had thought of handing the Decadriver to you if either of us died, Pan." She says.
-
"Oh?! Really?" Iso's eyes widened, surprised. "Why me? I'm nothing special really and there are plenty more qualified people."
-
"She thought you'd be mostly the type of person to help people in need, wherever they may be...I know someone else that I plan to hand my Diendriver to if I die...although I'm stuck between you and this friend named Olivia..." Kara said, before drifting off. She shook her head to get herself back. "Anyways, she felt you were best at being the next Decade if that would be the case." She responded.
-
"That's a real honor to even be thought of so....Thank you. That means a lot." Iso giggled. "I think I'm powerful enough as is though."
-
"Sure, but I guess Keira thought maybe you'd be...more powerful, I'd say. But, nonetheless, I was just letting you know that." Kara replied, the room becoming silent once more.
-
"Thanks for letting me know..." Iso trailed off, unsure of what to say.
-
"Huh...nice outfit. Suits you." Kara said, thinking of nothing else to say.
-
"You think?" Iso got up and twirled around. "I thought I should get more...appealing.
-
"Appealing? You like fine as is, Pan. I mean, look at me; looks like I just came back from the winter!" Kara had said, spinning herself around in response. "I mean, I technically did. Had to make sure Blade's dimension wasn't destroyed..." the Rider mumbled afterwards. She walked over to the fridge, and took out two cups of ramen noodles. "You up for it?" She asks.
-
"Sure! Hey, have you seen Artemis recently? I haven't seen her in a long while and I knew at one point she lived with you and you did save her from her father in a way..." Iso followed Kara to the fridge.
-
"I haven't...hadn't seen her for the past few months. Why'd you ask?" She says, putting the two cups into the microwave.
-
"I haven't seen her in a while either...." Iso sighed and leaned on a wall. "Been a few months."
-
"It's been a few months?" Kara asked, waiting for the cups to heat up. "Guess the Rider dimensions do fine differently than you guys; it's been two years since I last saw anyone from the Dojo..." Kara says, looking at herself in the process.
-
"Yeah, but Arty wouldn't just...vanish like she has. We used to be best friends, but now? She left without a word."
-
"Hm....I think I pissed her father off when I rescued her..." Kara had thought out loud, walking around. "Maybe she might've went into hiding or something?" The Rider had thought up.
-
"Maybe...." Iso sighed and then stared down at the floor. "Things are only going to get worse, aren't they?"
-
"I...don't know. I can't exactly tell the future, you know... but now...it feels like the beginning of the end to me..." Kara had somberly said, a singing bring heard.
-
"I feel like this is the calm before a storm...like something huge is going to go down." Iso looked back at Kara. "If I died...what mark would I leave on the world?"
-
"That depends on what you did exactly. It can leave an emotional...personal impact. It could be anything, really. Even if it's small." Kara responded, turning to Iso. "That's why us Riders fight for what we believe in; to leave a mark on the rest of the world; show people a better path." She responds, putting a hand on Iso's shoulder. "Why do you ask?"
-
"I...I just don't think I'll be walking away from the fight this time around, Kara." Iso glanced up, tears ran out of her fear filled eyes. "I don't want to die..."
-
Kara...didn't exactly know what to say, really. She hadn't died, at least to her knowledge. But...that didn't mean she thought about what she told Iso next. "Then...we do it like old times. It's not like I backed out or anything to protect you; Keira, too. We'll protect you...Artemis...anyone...just like we did before." She responds, hugging Iso once more.
-
"I don't want you dying too..." Iso gently hugged back for a second before backing off. "I have to face this on my own this time...no one else...just me and my past."
-
"Why? You could clearly get us to help and all." Kara said, a little confused at why Iso wanted to do this alone.
