"Yeah... Come on guys." Pilot Haran rose to his feet, along with the other Riflemen and quickly went after the Invictus crew
-
Cylus leads the group and moves to catch up with Ghost. "So what's going on here?" he asks
-
"I have no clue. I think they're taking us to the bridge to meet the captain. Noble Six and all."
-
"Well I'm glad they didn't shoot us. Guess we'll.just have to wait and see." Cylus responds
-
"Yeah." After a few minutes, the small group entered the bridge of the ship. Various consoles and technicians were working around the room, however a man stood in the middle of it all, overlooking space through a glass window in the bridge
-
"Never thought I would be aboard something from Halo." Cylus says to Ghost. As they enter the room, Cylus looks around at the bustling activity in awe. He nudges the Mandalorian. "Who's that guy?" he asks, referring to the man who seems to stand in charge.

https://imgur.com/1WjpGfj "Captain Robert Simmons of capital class ship, UNSC Armageddon." The man said, turning around to face the small group "Spartan-B312 you're supposed to be dead. Glad to see you're alive, soldier." "I Aim to please, Captain." Noble said, entering a stiffer posture in respect to the captain "And who are your friends?" "My crew, sir. And the Frontier Militia." "Your crew." "Mercenaries sir." "Mercenaries.... Are you serious?" "Yes sir." "Well shit... Guess pride really does come before the fall." "Sir.. If I may -" "No you may not. You are stripped of your rank in the UNSC, with no chances of returning. Now. Moving onto more pressing matters. The Frontier Militia. Who the hell are you?"

Edited by BondyMilk: 7/6/2017 11:18:00 PMCylus looks up upon noticing the awaited response from him. "Captain Simmons, The Frontier Militia is exactly what it says it is. I for one am not nearly the oldest member, however I am a pilot. For years the Militia turned basic farmers and well, Fronteirs' men and trained them to be soldiers in the war against our enemy, The IMC. The Frontier Militia is from a universe you'd call Titanfall, as you are from the universe we'd call Halo. I came from a separate universe and happened to find my way here." He nods over to his group with a small gesture. "This is my squadron, feel free to ask them any questions while your at it. This is Pilot Haran and his team."
-
"Frontier Militia. IMC. Hm..." The Captain looked down, and then back up "Do you know we can get back?" "Yeah. But it'll cost ya." Scorch suddenly piped up, looking at the captain "What?" "You're gonna need to help us in our war." Pilot Haran stated, stepping forward "An alliance? I suppose that would be beneficial for both of us. New technology against the Covenant, and we are able to return home..."
-
"Yeah, yeah we know what an Alliance is." Cylus replies. "But about the covenant, from what I recall, aren't they the least of your worries? When I pla- ... Um, heard about your universe last, wasn't that A.I. that 6 retrieved having some sort of breakdown? Threatening total universal reset or something of the sorts?" he asks. He cocks his head in curiosity.
-
"The least of our concerns? The bastards took down Reach, our second largest military operating center."
-
"Yes, I know about the fall of Reach. But with all due respect, I believe a rampant alian A.I with access to the halo rings is much more of a problem. I'm talking the fall of everything, not just your military operation centers." Cylus replies almost matter-of-factly.
-
"The A.i. Isn't difficult to sort out. Just change a few lines of programming." The Captain was clearly ignorant to the full threat such an AI could possess. However, if Cylus pursued the topic the Militia could lose a valuable asset in the war. But what if pointing out the obvious changed his actions that what was in the games after Reach?
-End the conversation -Set him straight
-
"You might not want to underestimate that Cortana figure. Just a heads up." Cylus didn't want to startle the Captain by telling him the future, nor did he want to upset him enough to drop the deal. He simply let it be, as he knew that it would likely play out the same way that it did in the games. At least, he hoped it would.
-
Simmons will remember that...
"Maybe. ANYWAY. What are your terms, mister Cylus of the Militia?"
-
"Ask Haran, he's likely seen more than I have. It'll likely be the basic "you help us, we help you."" He replies. "But you guys can work out the terms."
-
"Yeah. Pilot Haran was it?" "Yes Captain. "Come with me. We'll discuss terms." The pilot and the captain left the bridge, going to discuss the terms "Alright. I believe that's that." Noble said, with a sigh of relief
-
"That guy was a dick. Sorry that had to happen 6." Cylus says to the Spartan. "So much for a hero's welcome."
-
"It's what I realistically expected. I'm a desserter. Or at least the equivalent of one."
-
"You saved millions of lives... It's not right." Cylus says. "They left you for dead, so if anything, they're in the wrong."
-
"It's just the way things go I guess. Nothing else to it really.."
-
"I wish it could've gone differently for you. But alas, what else could we have done?" Cylus looms over to ghost. "While Pilot Haran and the Captain work out their little deal, how do you suppose we pass the time?" he asks
-
"We should go explore the ship some. See the tech they have." And so, the small group went off through the ship, Exploring. After an hour or so of walking around, the ship entered slip space, and returned back to the Dojo.
End!
