"They are... they aren't used in the field much either. Mostly used in the mining planets. Surprised they don't use them in combat as often as they do with mining." Gianna had said, the Makos beginning to make their way through the tunnel.

"They seem versatile enough. Strap big enough guns on this thing and you've got yourself a tank!" Cylus says
-
"That's what the machine gun is for; firing out any enemies nearby with ease." Gianna responded, relaxing as the Mako ht a bump, rocking the Mako.
-
"Yeah, that's true. It is more mobile than any tanks we had on my earth." Cylus comments. "How long is our little ride going to be?" he asks
-
"If there's no damn thing stopping us, less than an hour." The driver responded, a bump in the road rocking the vehicle.
-
"Well let's hope nobody is stupid enough to try to stop us then." Cylus says with a chuckle. He leans back in his chair and reloads his pistols before laying them in his lap.
-
The three relaxed, the Makos driving through the tunnel and through the vast snowy landscape surrounding the place. They eventually near the port. "Ma'am, Pilot, we're a few minutes out from the port; prepare for heavy engagement." The drive had replied.
-
Cylus looked up, seemingly excited. "Can I operate the guns?" he asks
-
"Break a leg, man. Just get up here!" The driver yelled, motioning Cylus to head up to the passenger seat of the vehicle. "I'll be here, Cylus." Gianna said, still sitting in the back. "Ma'am, first Mako made it; engaging heavy Cerberus activity as we speak!" The drive had replied, making room for the Pilot to make his way up.
-
Cylus scrambles towards the position in the turret, grabbing hold of the controls. "Okay, so what am I looking at here? And what am I shooting?" he asks the driver.
-
"Anything yellow and black. Cerberus colors; should be quite easy to spot 'em!" The driver told Cylus, as he could see 3 or so Makos in from of him entering another tunnel of sorts up ahead.
-
Cylus nods, looking around for sight of enemies. Keeping his head on a swivel and hands on the controls, he awaits engagement.
-
The Makos entered the area to see at least a hundred or so Cerberus soldiers behind cover enganging the Makos with RPG's and their dinky guns. "Welp...this looks easy for you. I think." The driver said, letting Cylus begin his shooting.
-
"With pleasure." Cylus pulled down the trigger and began mowing down the lined of Cerberus troops, laughing as he went. The enemy dove out of the way, but their escape attempts were futile. "Any overheat on this thing? He shouts over the gunfire.
-
"Yeah...though it should quickly be able to back to use in...oh, 30 seconds." The driver responded, as Cylus was able to blast though 50 of the goons, the remaining of the moving further back toward a giant set of double doors. It seemed the gun could fire for a few more seconds before overheating.
-
Cylus waited for the next set of enemies, knowing that the Makos behind him could get anybody he missed. "Alright, let's see what comes next."
-
...And what they got certantly 'bumped up the difficulty'. Coming out was about 100 YMIR mechs, armed to the bone and teeth with rockets and machine guns. "Oh shit..." the driver realized, looking at the mechs coming in. They were a little bigger than the normal human, standing at around 8 feet...
-
"I'm assuming that this is a bad thing." Cylus says rhetorically. He pulls down on the trigger, firing the gun at the mechs. He aimed for the face, as he assumed the big red lights were their sensors.
-
This seemed to work, as 10 blew up in quick succesion. The other continued forward, however, crushing Alliance soldiers with their giant meccjanical feet. "Fire the rockets, damnit!" The driver yelled out to Cylus.
-
Cylus clicked the second button on the handles and aimed, this time with four consecutive trigger pulls
-
This resulted in a massive explosion, that surprisingly didn't cave the tunnels in. The remaining mechs went down, the last few being destroyed by any remaining Alliance soldiers there...which were quite only a few. "Damn f*****g ay...almost gave me a damn heartattack..." the driver responded. "You can head out now; doesn't seem like there's many hostile left here." Gianna responded, most likely already out of the Mako.
-
Cylus hops out and nods to the driver. "That was fun." he says. He looks over to his team who was following close behind, waving them to come over. "Where to now?" he asks
-
"We'll just need to make our way through a few more doors and we'll make it to the main plaza; that's where the Alliance resistance was holding up at." Gianna says, motioning Cylus to follow her, the remaining 20 or so Alliance soldiers making their way through.
-
"Let's hit em where it hurts!" Cylus says, kicking a dislodged mech head.
-
"Of course. I'll hail them now." Gianna had told Cylus and the remainder of their allies, as she used her Omni-tool in a attempt to hail them. Unfortunately, nothing was picking up on the other end. "Strange; they would've called after we shut down their support...unless..." she says, the final door opening. A massive window stood right in front of them, overlooking the snowy mountains of Noveira. Alliance and Cerberus soldiers alike laid dead nearby. Some civilians laid dead as well, most likely resistance fighters. "You said we got a breach at the north hangar, lieutenant? Got it." One of the Cerberus soldiers said. They happened to have entered in the middle of the hallway, the sound of that voice coming from the left side of the hallway. "How do you want to take this?" Gianna whispered to Cylus. Cylus draws one of hus pistols along with a suppressir, quickly screwing it on. "Let's not alert anyone else who might be there. I'll take point." Cylus says. He raises his pistol, ready to move
