So me and my girlfriend decided to try to cook something new. We decided to make tacos. We usually cook Mexican food but never tried tacos. HOW THE -blam!- DO PEOPLE MANAGE TO EAT THEM? First try, I managed to put the stuff in the taco but as soon as I bite it everything fall off. Second try, when I put the stuff in it cracked in half. I think I put too much stuff in it and again everything dropped on the floor. For my third and last try I gave up I put everything in a plate and ate everything individually.
So my question is, how do you do home made tacos without being messy?

Wait for the juice to soak into the bottom

Two words will solve your problem. "Soft Shells!"

Soft shell for the win...

I don't like hard shell tacos either. They taste good but I always end up with a lap salad. Try soft shell tacos.

If you insist on hard shell, alternate sides you bite from. The tacos from my work use small (3-4 inch diameter) corn tortillas and cook them until they are slightly singed. Stack a small amount of stuff on top and you have an easy 1-2 bite taco, no mess

How do you manage to cook Mexican when tacos are the entry level item?
