Isaac was still, for a few seconds. His eyes stared upon Felix's ashes, as he rose up from his position and sighed. The spear of blood returned to an orb-like structure, before he returned to Cain, literally running towards the one whom came to battle the monster.
"...Cain?" Isaac pushed upon the man's armor, hoping to wake him before checking for a pulse, a glimmer of life.. anything.

Scarlett ran beside the prince as well, kneeling down to look at him. As Isaac pressed his finger to the man's neck, he felt an incredibly weak pulse. "We can't live in our victory yet Isaac." Scarlett told him. Suddenly, the entire area began to shake. The realm Felix had created began to churn and look like it was in a mirage as the portal Isaac entered through started to become smaller in size. "We need to get Cain out of here, now!" Scarlett told Isaac.
-
Isaac merely grunted in response, as he attempted to pull the man towards the flickering portal. The blood sphere fluttered around him, looking for straps upon Cain's armor: by cutting them, his overall weight would be lessened, and thus they had a better chance of saving Cain. Yet sacrificing armor, of course.
-
There were a few he could see, particularly the ones that were tied above his shoulders. But these were under the armour plated shoulders that seemed to be fitted together tightly.
-
Isaac sighed, as the formation of blood slid throughout the armor, eventually finding themselves upon the straps. It began to saw and tear through the straps, or at least try to.
-
The armour dropped to the ground as Scarlett grasped Cain as well. The man became significantly lighter but he was still easily 200 pounds at the least. His worked body was covered in cuts and stabs and it was coated red. "Jeez this lad is a heavy one!" Scarlett said as the portal was about thirty feet away.!
-
"Damn, he is.." Isaac muttered, while he wasn't particularly used to this sort of situation himself: he hadn't exactly pulled something, or rather someone, of this caliber ever. Wrapping his arms around Cain's, he began to pull with all of his strength, which was somewhat lacking after the fight with Felix.
-
The portal continued to dwindle more and more as the ground shook and rumbled as if an earthquake was going off. Scarlett stumbled, and Cain dropped on his right side towards her. "Ah! Damnit no!" Scarlett cursed.
-
"Come on, Scarlett!" Isaac yelled, in an effort to keep Scarlett moving. He positioned himself underneath Cain's arm, pulling and yelling out from the tension as he continued to drag the man's muscular body.
-
Scarlett stumbled back up and grabbed Cain in a similar fashion, and the weight came less off of Isaac which allowed him to carry Cain easier. The portal continued to dwindle as they were so close to getting inside. Five feet, four feet, three feet, and with each step the portal got smaller and smaller.
-
With all of his continuous strength, Isaac carried onwards, silently praying that the portal wouldn't be so small that he, Scarlett, or Cain would be lost within the crumbling dimension. Each step was strained and harsh, sweat beading down his forehead as he carried onwards to the shrinking portal.
-
Then, as he neared the portal, he felt himself propelled in like something had grabbed him. His vision turned into a blood red for a second as he felt his feet touch ground again, this time, in the night lit sky of the destroyed throne room. Cain was beside him, and so was Scarlett.
-
Isaac fell to his knees, pressing his bloodied hands against the flooring before looking up, studying the stars that were high above. A trembling, faint smile came upon his face, as he rose up and brushed himself off, looking over at Scarlett. "...I know it's too early to celebrate, but.. holy hell.." He muttered, lifting up Cain's arm once more.
-
Scarlett looked at him and chuckled as well. "Hehe. No kidding." "Oi! There you damned kids are!" The voice of the Jarl bellowed as he entered his throne room. Beside him was the ashen haired Lilly, who looked with fear as she immediately ran over to Cain. "C-Cain! What did he do to you?!" She asked as she looked at his wounds. "He kicked some serious ass I'd imagine!" Haakon said. "Though that usually comes with a cost..." "That's putting it lightly Haak." Scarlett said. She turned her head to Isaac. "We should probably let him down...let the doc do her work."
-
"Yeah.. Lilly, is Ari alright?" Isaac looked over, setting Cain down and looking over at Lilly questionably. He was clearly concerned for the safety of Cain, judging by his grimace, but he wanted to hear of the safety of his sister as well.
-
Lilly turned her head to the entrance of the throne room, and Isaac had his answer. There was his sister, looking frail but standing in the doorway. Arianna's wounds seemed to feel much better than before, but her stomach was sore and stinging with pain still and her other cuts stung as well.
all you buddy
-
"Ari!" Isaac immediately began a sprint towards the wounded, beaten, yet alive young woman, a smile crossing Arianna's pale face as she shrugged and nodded, still aching from the previous agony. Blood continued to drip from Isaac's head wound, yet he didn't mind, as he tackled Arianna in a tight hug. "...So.. is he dead?" Arianna asked quietly, whispering within Isaac's bloodied ear, as the teenage boy responded with several, several spurted words and phrases. "Y-Yeah, he's dead - ashes everywhere, Cain was hurt, dimension collapsed entirely - drove a spear through his head, all three of us did it together-" "Woah, woah." Arianna laughed a little, placing her hands upon Isaac's shaking shoulders. "...Yeah, I think that confirmed my suspicions. He's dead.. wow. Celtic Isles are hopefully free, and.. we can go back. To.. the Dojo." There was something solemn about how Arianna had mentioned the Dojo. Isaac didn't question it: he thought of Pan, knowing that Irina had cared for the girl while he had gone. It brought hope to his heart. "So, Haak!" Arianna shouted, interrupting the silence. "Since you're.. well, the only surviving Celtic leader, probably - guess you own the Isles, or what's left of them?"
-
"Haha! Damned right!" Haakon said. "First we ought to rebuild and clean up this fucking mess. Jaysus it's a fine mess that's for sure." The Jarl told them. Suddenly, the group heard the sound of bustling and a crowd making their way to the castle. As they turned to see, they saw hundreds of people all at the entrance of the castle. Their clothes were tattered and their bodies looked frail, and they looked at the entryway to the throne room with confusion as they looked at the transformed corpses. "Well shit! Looks like killing that white haired bastard did more then clear the weather!" The Jarl said.
-
"...I'm not giving a speech." Arianna muttered sarcastically. "I'll go kill a vampire lord fuсker and his army of Celtic zombies, but not give a speech to said Celtic people about the slaying of said vampire lord." "Er.. yeah. Though I think we can convince the Dojo to help with the repairs, search-and-rescues, that thing." Isaac pointed out. "Right, Ari?" "...Sure."
-
"Ha! Wasn't gunna have you introverted shites give a speech in the first place! Plus, us Celtics focus on doing the shit rather than talking about it!" Haakon yelled as he walked down towards the crowd. "OI! LISTEN UP YA SHITS. WE GOT FUCKED. BUT NOW ITS TIME TO BUILD. SO START BUILDING!" Suddenly, all of the Celtic people began to rush around. Many started to clean up the corpses while others went to the city and it was as if someone picked up a hammer immediately and started banging something, and soon after, it had a chorus behind it. Haakon chuckled as he turned back to the group, and Lilly had laid Cain down and already started to clean his wounds with some form of magic. "That being said ya crazy tykes, I couldn't have done this without ya. Know that you will always have a home here on Ragnarok, no matter where ya are!" Haakon told the kids.
-
"...Thank you, Lord Haakon." Arianna gave a deep curtsy towards the renewed ruler. She would certainly remember his comment, and the way of the Celtic people and how to blend in within their society. Isaac followed suit with a calm bow, nodding his head before turning over to Scarlett, Lilly, and Cain. "...I suppose that we should get back to the Dojo, then. It's been a fun trip - hellish, deathly, but fun." "We still need to get those instruments to.. Zane, and his kids. Rorek and.. didn't see the sister's name." Arianna reminded her younger brother, whom shrugged and nodded in agreement.

Edited by Inflatablepants: 7/5/2017 12:57:01 PM"Actually..." Scarlett said. "I think I'll be staying around here for a bit. I'll try to make some connections, that sort of thing." She told the two kids. "Aye! I'll find you two a sailor, don't you worry." Haakon told Isaac and Ariana. Lilly looked up to Isaac and Arianna, a combination of different emotions on her face. Particularly, fatigue. "I think Cain and I will have to spend some time here you guys." She told them. "He's much to injured a-and i need to make sure that he'll be safe."
-
"Fine by me, then." Arianna responded, as Isaac calmly nodded, before speaking in response himself: "Definitely fun. Can we go get some things, before the ship back to our place returns? Left some things behind."
-
"Aye you can." Haakon permitted Isaac. "What did you forget kid?"
-
"Instruments." "...Items that a survivor wished to see returned to one of his friends, on the mainland." Arianna explained.
-
"Mmm. Aye then you best get to it." Haakon told them. "That being said, I suppose that brings us to our farewell. I owe you kids everything, and I am definitely more than fucking surprised by that matter!" The Jarl said. He turned to Lilly. "And same with you lil Alex. Without your healing these two wouldn't have made it!" Lilly smiled shyly at the Jarl as she brought her attention back to Cain, who was still unconscious
