Charlie has a rare genetic disease, he can't move, can't see, he's on life support and his days are numbered. His parents heard of a treatment in the US that could help but his doctors disagreed. They took it to court and the court agreed that little Charles can be taken off life support but his family wants to take him but the hospital told them he has to die there.
What do you think about all this? I left out many details but you can read the article for more.
I think the parents should be allowed to take him home. It's so sad to see a baby suffer like this.

The parents should decide what happens to him, not the hospital.
-
The parents just want to save their son for Christ's sake... If they don't want to give up on them, why force it?
-
Sounds like a waste of money to try to keep him alive.

His parents should have the right to take him home! What kinda bullshit is this? They're about to lose their son so why not let him pass in the comfort of his own home. Things like this piss me off so much, the people who make these decisions have no emotions what so ever. Im sure as hell if it was their child, they'd want them home too!

I think that Charlie's family should be allowed to take him home. I generally agree that hospitals and their ethics boards should be allowed to decide to remove someone from life support, if the person will not survive without it and won't ever recover.
