Why is there so much negativity on these forums surrounding Destiny 2? Yes, the Bungie team is making changes. So many people in this community sound like stubborn old geezers who are resistant to change, talking about "Back in my day..." It's a new game - changes are expected. Otherwise, you'd all be complaining because it's too much like Destiny 1. Personally, I'm excited for a fresh start.
I challenge you to write something you look forward to in Destiny 2.
I look forward to: seeing how the character creation will turn out. Will we have plenty more options to make our Guardian stand out from the rest? I don't like how my human character looks (and thus I wear a helmet at all times) and I desperately look forward to a fresh start.

It is not a question of change itself...but a question of what changes specifically and what the logic and rationale was behind these changes. For me...some of these changes fundamentally change features that made Destiny for me...and will severely reduce or simply remove those features I loved. The new vision for Destiny is so far either underwhelming or a disappointment. Before the reveal there was a whole lot I was looking forward to. But the reveal and subsequent information releases have taught me to seriously curb my enthusiasm and hopes for this game. Fee weeks ago....I was looming forward to creating a new character...and had high hopes for all the new possibilities and features that would surely be added. ....but...based on all the information about design we have now and the overarching vision of limiting options and customisation...I fear we won't see any meaningful expansion of the character customisation options either. As an example....It has already been stated we won't get facial hair features for male characters....and while that doesn't exclude other options...it doesn't bode well.
