1. It cost a whole $5.
2. I want more information before I form an opinion on the game.
3. I have friends who play.
4. Destiny, in spite of many flaws, is one of the best overall values in gaming I've experienced.
5. I'm not afraid of it changing in a sequel.

I remember when Halo 2 came out. At first I was angry and bitter that the game I grew to love and played daily with my friends was going to be replaced by something that not only ran differently, but could be played online and no longer required LAN parties to enjoy. After going to my buddies house like I usually did after school, my whole group of friends was playing H2 and having a blast. I resisted and said "this game is gay, halo 1 is the best". I'll never forget the feeling I had the first time I dual-wielded. It was amazing. I stopped comparing H2 to H1 and began enjoying it for what it was: a different game. So for that reason, I'm going to stay open-minded on this one and let D2 show me what is has to offer before passing judgement, because who knows, it could be another H2. p.s. It's worth mentioning that H2 was the first console game that I ever played online that led to forming an awesome play group and always having buddies to match with.
